Perfect for computer, great quality, easy to use, easy setup

Got this so I could hook up my old school monitor to my new PC as a second screen and it worked like a charm. I was going to turn my old monitor into E-waste but a couple of bucks later I now have a nice little second screen set up to view my inventory while gaming.

This cable is easy to use. It also feels much sturdier than most.

We wanted to connect a second screen to our HP laptop. We had gotten conflicting advice from different IT people about what we needed. Best Buy associate was very helpful in saying this is all we needed, demonstrating how to hook it up, and going thru computer prompts. Made it easy to hook up when we got home.

I thought I have to give away my old monitor but best buy sales person introduced to DVI-D to HDMI cable so I able to use my old monitor. thank you very much and this cable works very well for me.

The Insignia house brand is a quality cable that wont' break the bank. I just needed to connect an older monitor to a docking station, and I didn't want to wait for online delivery nor pay too much. This cable did the job fine, and the install meant the user was only without the second monitor for hours instead of days.

I needed these cables to connection an older large desktop screen to my laptop. The Best Buy sales person recommended this cable and it worked like a dream. Wonderful to be able to work on my laptop with a large screen!

I needed to find a cable to connect my desktop CPU to a TV set to use it as a monitor. On line search revealed another source of a similar cable; but when I went there to buy it, I was told they do not stock it ever. They suggested Best Buy! The cable works well.

This cable is exactly what we were looking for, but we opted instead for the Rocketfish HDMI to DVI Adapter. Don't get me wrong, this cable is great for those that only want one cable coming from the monitor and going into the back of a tower when you don't have an HDMI female end in the desktop. Both of them work perfectly, and we kept this just in case the adapter fails.

Converting from a Microsoft HP desktop to a Mac mini and wanted to use my existing hardware. My monitor has two inputs, VGA and DVI-D. VGA is not compatible with my Mac so I needed this cable to convert the HDMI output from the Mac. Works very well, especially since I can use both the old and new computers without a special switch. Too bad I can't run them simultaneously.

This was another item that I was in a pinch for on a job site, so I grabbed at at Best Buy. No issues with it, worked perfectly, and even after more than a year, still going strong. Never hesitate to buy the Insignia cables!

Fits into the output slots that it claims to fit into. The signal before and after using this is in no way affected. My computer only had one hdmi port. I bought this to utilize the dvi-i port so I could connect two televisions to my computer. (Yes, televisions, I'm too cheap to buy actual computer monitors because there is an excess of televisions in our household.)

I was in dire straits and needed a way to make my older monitor work with my newer computer. I’m not a Luddite but I don’t have time or patience to deal with complications. I just needed the stuff to work together and this magical cord did the job! The Best Buy sales guy was awesome!

I purchased this cable to connect an external monitor to my Dell laptop that has a HDMI output. I plugged the cable into the laptop and without purchasing any software or downloading any of those useless apps, my Dell recognized it immediately. Picture quality was what I come to expect from HDMI connectivity as it just worked flawlessly.

This has came in handy for my pc monitors. When you need to have a certain plug to operate your monitor, this is the right one for you. If your monitor doesn't show up when you insert it into your motherboard always plug into your graphics card slots.

This item works perfectly and does the required job. I had a monitor which only accepted a DVI connector and a computer that only had an HDMI output. The allowed me to continue using my monitor. The only reason for the 4 stars is that there are far cheaper options available if you have time to wait for the item to be shipped to you. But I needed the item immediately and this did the job.

I have a computer with only a DVI connector and a monitor/tv with only HDMI input. This cable was the perfect combination and the best I could find at a reasonable price. The best things about this is that the 6' is the perfect length because I can move my PC/monitor around and not have to be restricted due to cord length.
