I needed to set up my home work office space and the Dell docking station was not compatible with my HP monitors. I was able to purchase the Insignia DVI to HDMI cable from Best Buy. It works great and was easy to use.

The cable was the right length and works flawlessly to connect my laptop to older projection equipment

I was able to purchase a new monitor and this gave me a chance to have dual monitors at home. All I need was HDMI to DVI-D Cable. Love Love it Works great and I have my dual monitors working with minimal set-up effort. If you need a new HDMI cable, you should differently consider this cable.

I would think for the price I was getting a cheaply made product, but this cable is top notch. This cable is extremely durable and reliable. It holds up through unplugging it and plugging it in time and time again, and the transfer quality never lets you down. Great cable for a great price!

Had to buy this to use for my new computer and monitor set up I bought from best buy. It was very easy to find in the store and it worked perfectly. It was easy to install and since it was installed I have had no problems since.

I was trying to find a cord that would connect a second monitor to my docking station for a laptop. I had used the one RGB to my first monitor and the second connector was a DVI. the second monitor only had RGB and HDMI connectors. I searched a number of stores and I was unable to find a converter cable to connect my second monitor. I shopped at Best Buy and I was able to locate the DVI to HDMI that I needed to patch my second monitor to my docking station. The picture quality that I was able to get with the DVI to HDMI patch cord was a notable difference from my first monitor. I know now to start shopping at Best Buy first to locate the hard to find products that I need.

I had an older monitor that I was using as a secondary display that didn't have HDMI out but wasn't DVI-D either. I only had one DVI-D slot in my graphics card which I needed for my main monitor, so this is just what I needed to allow me to plug it into the HDMI slots.

No issues out of the box and no issues with my displays. Definitely a good solution if you are limited with HDMI ports and wish to run a multi-screen display alongside devices like Rift without having to connect and disconnect wires each time you wish to switch

Works perfectly with my new LG ultrawide monitor. The price was extremely fair and it was in stock (they can be hard to find), these cords are essential to get the full resolution from Nvidia Quadro FX3700 video card. I tried an HDMI cord and the quality was far less then acceptable at 2560 by 1080.

The only cable you would need to connect older computers to new monitors. They don’t make monitors like they used to, with inputs being only hdmi. This is the cheap alternative to buying a new computer

Have both my PC and Xbox One connected to a cheap monitor with only one HDMI slot and one DVI slot, so this adapter cable allows me to connect both devices to the same monitor on the cheap without having to immediately go out and get a more expensive monitor. Affordable solution.

These cables get the job done when some of our (typically older) monitors don't have HDMI inputs. Works wonderfully; we have bought several in the past and have never had any issues. Excellent quality.

This works well for a Monitor/Computer pairing when one has a DVI Connection and the other has an HDMI connection. Worked Great. We just plugged it in and everything connected up. Just had to go in and tell the computer how I wanted to push the image to the screen (Mirror, extended, etc.).

This monitor cable provided good, firm connection between Dell Latitude 5410 (HDMI) and Dell U2412 monitor (DVI). Good length. Fair price for being in stock item at local store. It may cost less at either Target or Walmart for similar item of the same or lesser quality. I’ll stick with Bestbuy.

Had to connect an old monitor to my new laptop. Bought a similar cord from MicroCenter but was not working out. This cord instead works perfectly, and the little screws make it secured into my monitor.

See title, really - there's not much else to say. It neatly circumvented a problem I've got with my video card refusing to output if there's any sort of adapter attached to it. This is generally a good manufacturer for cables as well; they're sturdy and last a while. This is no exception.

I purchased this cable because I need a secondary monitor to preview projected screen. The monitor I have is DVI and the projector / amplifier is HDMI. The cable was cheaper than buying a new HDMI monitor. This carried the video feed with no flicker or delay - great product.

i have to tell you cable saved my life, I purchased a 24"Dell Monitor for my boss he has an older 2009 Dell Laptop that he uses in the office so I went to hook the monitor up to the Laptop and couldn't because of the connection was older I couldn't believe it so i went to Best Buy and they had the cable I needed I was so happy and my boss was so surprised when he walked in and seen he had a new monitor we are all happy now, I also purchased the monitor at Best Buy!! It saved me for sure!! so don't think they don't have these types of cables out there they do!

I need a DVI D since my graphics required a DVI D and my monitor had a DVI C. So I’m like oh no! Until this one was available and my monitor had the capability to connect the DVI D to HDMI. This piece saved my gaming.
