Simple product and works as advertised. Have tested each cable with both NES mini and SNES mini without issue. Prefer wireless in the end. No good options here for NES wireless if you want an authentic-looking NES controller, but there's an Insignia-stamped SNES controller which almost looks authentic (bulky and look is a bit off) that does the job. But if your kids are past the point of yanking on the controller, and hence the whole cord and console, to make Mario further (most gamers started off there at some point), then wires work just fine and these are a welcome addition to the NES and SNES minis unless you want to sit 6 inches in front of a modern-sized television.

I had purchased the NES Classic Mini since I loved the old Nintendo classics but after playing it for the 1st time, realized that with the short 3 foot cable, you have to sitting right next to the TV. I looked around and got these cables for half off. I would say they work. I haven't seen any real lag and it makes it more tolerable to play not being so close to my 4K TV. Haven't tried them on the SNES classic that I have still in the box but supposedly, these should work.

Its rare but check it when you purchase them. If they don't work with NES mini or SNES mini or the Wii. Then exchange them as long as you are within the days of the warranty. For the one I purchase the first time one of the extension would make my SNES shut off maybe, for some weird reason. But after I return/exchange them with a new pair with my warranty and test them at home. Then it finally work. Always keep your receipt and look at the warranty and see how many day you get.

NES used to have really short cords, but TVs were smaller and people sat close to them, so things kind of worked out. Today however, TV's a huge and it makes 0 sense to have short cords on controllers, no matter how 'accurate' that is to the past :). As such, when Best Buy recommended this cable extenders, it was a very sensible recommendation and I am glad I went with them as they do work great and make the system more convenient.

These are really good extension cords. They don't cause the controllers to have any lag. The only thing I wiash is that they were a little bit longer. Because even with the extension cord connected to the controller I still have to move the snes/NES classic in order for it to not be to short. However that's just because of how my furniture is set up it might be different for someone else these might be the perfect length for other people.

These are great, especially because Nintendo only sends you a controller with a 3 foot cable. They are also interchangeable for both NES and SNES. One set did fail though and this is my second purchase. Not much else out there unless you want the wireless version, but the cable gives it the extra nostalgia that I think these systems are aiming for.

One of the opportunities the NES Classic has is the lack of distance from the console with those short cords! Best Buy does it again with their Insignia 6' extension cables. Easy to use. The only downfall is I have to occasionally get up and press the cord into the cable from the controller as it gets slightly gets disconnected/.

So far so good on these pair of cables. They add the needed length to the NES classic controllers and the input lag seems to be just about the same. If you are no getting the wireless controllers because you want to feel like the old days then you'll want these. Hopefully they'll last for a long time. Cheers.

These are a must have if you want to play the Nintendo classic mini. The cords on the controllers are so short you would have to stand right next to the TV just to play. The first pair of extensions we bought had to be returned because one of them didn't work. Best Buy exchanged them for us and the new ones work great!

These cables extend the woefully short cables for the NES and SNES Classic controllers. They do their job. It works better with the SNES controllers since the base cord is longer, but if you need to extend your cord, this will serve you well.

The extension cables are nothing special, but they do what they are intended for which is to lengthen your mobility and reach by adding much needed length and freedom from the short cable that is standard on all nes classic controllers.

Works good, controllers react with no visible lag and comes 2 in a pack. The only thing I didn’t like is that it was only 6’ vs the competition that is doing 10’. That is almost half the length vs other extensions.

Love this product as it's a necessity to extend your controller cords to a useable length. Only thing I can say negatively is they should offer these in a longer length, as well. I had to buy 2 sets to get them long enough for my needs.

the wire the controller comes with is only a few feet long. you'll need this if you don't want to be next to the tv. you might as well buy 2 of these if you have 2 controllers. with both combined you'll be about 14 feet from the Nintendo.

This is the only brand of extension cables they had available for the SNES Classic, but they work well for what they are. If anything, I'd prefer them to be a bit longer but in a pinch you could certainly use one cable to extend the other.

While I wish there wasn't a need for these (Nintendo make your cables longer), this was by far the best price for these extensions cables. The 2 pack was the same price as a 1 pack at other stores. Cables work great.

Unfortunately after I bought these I realized I could just get wireless controllers for the NES classic so I returned these. If u don't want to go that route these definitely work just fine.

These extensions do exactly what they are supposed to do. They are long enough to reach our couch. I would recommend buying these because the stock controller cables are too short.

My recommendation is that you get 2 sets. For me 1 was not long enough for each controller so I connected both together for 1 controller. Will order another set for the other controller.

These extension cords are necessary if you do not want to be right next to your tv when using the controllers. There is another wireless option that costs $25 but this is the less expensive solution.
