      Seems like it will be a discontinued item soon anyway now that thunderbolt is on the scene. I was disappointed that it only came with one 9 pin to 6 pin adapter. For the price I paid it should have had two adapters to make it completely universal.

      Purchased this to interface a keyboard workstation to a PC. I paid $30.00 for this cable, it didn't work and I was not able to get a refund. I purchased 2 cables via the internet that were wired from a firewire 400 to 800. These two cables worked and with shipping they cost $21.00. I would strongly not recommend purchasing this useless expensive product.

      I have already used the Firewire cable. It came with an adapter for Firewire 400 to 800 that I really need to use the Mac transfer utility to transfer the data from my old Macbook to the new one. Removed the adapter and now I use it for backups to my external hard drive. Coulsn't live without it.
