It makes playing Rocksmith awesome. That said, I did not spri g for the super expensive cable this time and it seems to be okay.

HDMI Cable to Connect labtop to a 2nd Screen

The quality is fine and both function flawlessly. Don't believe the "hype" about better gold plating, etc. ,these cables work fine.
