Perfect for my teenage boys and doesn’t get tangled

Nice but heavy cables will make it fall over. It is a nice charging brick though.

It’s a good device but kind of hard to put stay in place.

Compact and fast-charging, but I would have preferred a second standard usb port.

I recently took a weeklong vacation with my family of five, and with three separate hotel stays over six nights and seven days, this was a perfect way to keep all our devices charged up and ready to go. It was a long road trip, so it was especially essential to make sure all our devices were charged up. Between my husband, three children and myself, we brought along several electronic devices—a MacBook, four iPads, five iPhones, three Apple Watches, and two iPhone battery packs. Oh, and a Nintendo Switch! This 6-in-1 charging station was a great way to quickly plug in what needed to be charged, and it helps immensely that it charges up fast. I especially like that it has two AC outlets that we used to power up our larger devices, along with the 3 USB-C ports and the one USB-A port. The long five-foot cord was perfect in that it allowed us to plug in the charging station wherever it was best, even if the wall outlet was not close by. Best of all, it is a low-profile device in that it is not your typical big, clunky, heavy power strip. We packed a lot for this trip and our suitcases were very full, but this charging station did not take up a lot of room and in fact I was able to simply stuff it into the side of one of our suitcases. Not to mention that it freed up space in that we did not need to pack as many power adapters—just the charge cables. This charging station would also be perfect for a desktop setup that utilizes several plugs—upon our arrival home from our trip my husband was eyeing it to possibly replace it at his desktop workstation! It is also ideal for a central charge location at home, where everyone can recharge their tech as needed.

The 6-in-1 Charging Station from Insignia has a great design. The charging station itself is small. The shape is round with rubber strips on the bottom to reduce slipping off the table. On one side, it has 2 outlets with ground. On the other side there are three USB-C ports and one USB-A port. The labels of power delivery are sort of misleading. For example, the left two USB-C ports can deliver up to 70W. If you plug in only one device there, it will deliver up to 70W. But if both are occupied by devices, the far left will deliver up to 45W and the other will deliver 20W. That’s plenty for newer laptops but not gaming laptops. The manual will tell you how much each port is cable of power delivery. The cord itself is 5ft in length. It is long enough to sit on top of my table and the tip of the cord can touch my floor and then some. Since many new technology uses USB-C ports, this works well for me. I can charge my Macbook Pro M3 Ultra and my iphone and still have available ports to use. Do not use this outside the United States. It is only capable of up to 125V. I really like this charging station and recommend it for its design and combination of ports.

This product stopped working properly 4 months after purchase. One of the three usb-c chargers and the usb-c stopped functioning. I would return it, but the Best Buy app says that it is not eligible. I'm disappointed in the product and Best Buy.

If you are anything like me you have started to realize you have way more devices that need charging than you might have places to plug them up so this Insignia 6-in-1 70W Charging Station sounded like a perfect product to try and make things a little less chaotic. Power strips are great but can be bulky so something small like this and much more portable seemed like a great solution. For starters, the diversity in the charging options are great. 2 outlets, one USB-A port and 3 USB-C ports should definitely fit most users needs. While 70W sounds great it’s important to keep in mind that if you are charging more than one item at a time that power is being shared. With this in mind if you have any power hungry devices (like a laptop for example) you can’t expect this to give you fast charging (it will likely be slower but it will still get the job done). Overall this definitely did what I needed it to do perfectly…charge my various devices in one central area (which was perfect on my most recent trip where the place we stayed was limited in convenient outlet space). Like I said, the compact size is also a plus. I would likely rely on this more for when traveling or away from home more than I would for an every day solution though. And if you are someone that just absolutely needs to have everything charging at super fast speeds you should definitely adjust your expectations for go for something that may better fit your needs (something this small just isn’t going to fast charge 6 devices at once)

This charger fails at charging reliably. When you place a USC-C cable into a connected device, the charger doesn't immediately send power. Plus when you add another connected cable, sometimes power isn't sent at all until you disconnect the device and reconnect. It's a real drag but it's not worth returning for the price I paid.

This insignia 6 in 1 charger is a solid addition to a household needing to charge multiple devices without juggling a bunch of charging bricks! Pros: It’s not huge, has good cable length. Having 2x 70w USB-C ports allows for 99+% of phones to be quick charged at their max speed (as long as they support the USB PD specs this charger uses) You can quick charge an average phone AND charge a thinner/normal laptop with those ports as well, while charging something like a cheap tablet (think Amazon fire type) and smart watch all while still having 2x AC ports open. (that are super conveniently rotated 90 degrees from each other which allows for most weird shaped adapters to be used without interfering with each other) The bottom has nice grips to keep it from slipping around when plugged into multiple things. Cons: Even though I put the size in “pros” I would also consider it a con, because it seems like the unit could be almost 2 inches shorter and still fit everything OR they could have added another USB port and 90 degree AC port. (I’m not an electrical engineer so obviously there may be something internally needing the space that isn’t visible on the outside. Having more compact dimensions, would also make it a great portable option) Overall, still a 5 star product from insignia, totally recommend!

Now I can charge all of my different elctronic devices that require a different female input and different male output, at the same time. I used the Insignia 6-in-1 70W Charging Station first to charge my phone with the USB 12W max, because my phone is an older model without the USB C port. I do not know if it was my phone's cable or the Insignia 6-in-1 70W Charging Station, but the phone kept clicking off the charging status light until I slightly moved my phone and saw the charging status begin again. The phone did charge later with no problems. I plugged in my Notebook into the AC outlet and heard a click and felt the tight secure fit that began my Notebook charging. The Insignia 6-in-1 70W Charging Station never became over heated or even too warm to handle. The power cord is thick to handle high wattage and voltage safely. The design of the Insignia 6-in-1 70W Charging Station allows devices not to be in a row, as if on a power strip, one after the other, but instead devices can be charged on opposite sides of the charging station allowing more separation of devices charging. I am going to use the Insignia 6-in-1 70W Charging Station for every electric device that I can plug in to its inputs, for a quick and safe charge.

The Insignia 6-in-1 Charging station has been a great addition to my home office. The hub provides two standard US outlets along with 3 USB-C and one USB-A ports. It works exactly as expected, providing power for my office lamp along with charging multiple devices such as ipads, phones, and even lower power laptops. My only criticism of the unit is that it is slightly low power at max. 70W of power delivery through the USB ports. This is plenty for small electronic devices, but my higher power laptop needs a 90W input to properly charge. I was able to use one of the USB-C ports to charge it, but it did so at a much slower rate. Plugging it's power adapter into the 3 prong outlet gave me the full charging capability. For soemone with a laptop with lower power needs, such as a Macbook Air or MS Surface device, the power output would be fully acceptable. Overall the charging station has ben a great addition to my workflow and helped eliminate a number of extra power cables on my desk. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a consolidated power hub.

Like many of you, between my laptop and various mobile devices, it seems like I was always reaching under my desk or running a power cable to plug things in - never fun / often annoying. With this handy charging station though, crawling under my desk to plug in my laptop (or iPad charger, etc) is a think of the past! Think of the charging station basically like a smart power strip / extension cord in one. It features a reasonably thick (but still pliable) 5 foot cord that lets you plug it in where you want (it even has a "flat" / right angle plug so you can plug it in behind a piece of furniture and it will sit flush against the wall, a nice touch!) Once plugged in, I have it sitting on my desk so I can plug my laptop charger into it (if my laptop were < 70Ws over USB-C, I could just plug it directly into the USB-C port on the charging station, but it uses 100W so I need to use the laptop charger on the AC ports which works just fine) without reaching behind the desk. I can also charge a variety of mobile devices using the built in 3 USB-C and 1 USB-A ports (up to 70W if the first USB-C port is used alone or the wattage can split among the ports) - this is plenty to charge my tablet, phone or other devices. All in all, this charging station makes my life easier and that's a big thing! (Even if you don't find yourself having to reach under the desk to plug things in, this could also be useful in other ways - such as not having to run multiple cords across the floor, etc.) While I can't comment on how the charging station will hold up long term since I just started using it, it does SEEM well made and durable, with a thick / high guage cord and a solid feel to it (not heavy, but not light / flimsy either, just solid). All the ports work just as they say and the connections feel good - not too snug for the plugs but not loose either. It does appear that it will prove to be durable, but I'll update this review if I find out otherwise. NOTE: This is not, nor does it claim to be, a surge protector - you'll want a surge protector for your setup as a whole, I would imagine. So if you could use an easy way to relocate your power sources (AC or USB) and consolidate into a single setup, this is a GREAT and cost effective way to do just that. Give it a try today!

The Insignia 6 in 1 is great for charging multiple devices at once. It is very solidly built and high quality. You get 3 USBC ports two of which have a 70W max rating. These are great for charging laptops and cell phones at the fastest speeds. You’ll also get a single USB-A port and two three-prong standard plugs. Having the standard outlet is nice as you are able to expand the charging capabilities or simply just plug something in. Having the USB-A is nice. We all use iPhones in our house and all but one of them uses a lightning cable. We still have a ton of the USB-A to lighting cables so that’s what most of us use. However, with more and more gadgets coming with USB-C it’s very nice to have the 3 C ports. Some things I’d like to see is an extra USB-A port and maybe the ability to have the power cord swivel. The cable is very ridged and it makes it difficult to set the ports exactly where you want them. Overall, it is a great multi plug system that should be sufficient for most people. Everything charges super fast and I definitely recommend!
