I purchased these chargers not even a month ago & they are not working. They started off great but then after maybe 2wks or so they started acting up. I have to move the cords all different ways just for it to start charging & stay. Other than that it's hard to get it to work & I actually said I was going to bring them back today to return & exchange for another charger.

Very dissatisfied. Neither of them work. I’ve tried different wall plugs with connector plugs and different cables. The ones I bought don’t work. Frustrated as these were a replacement given to me by Best Buy employees who originally gave me the wrong cables to begin with. Now I have to make a third trip to Best Buy for these cables that don’t work. Aargh!!!!

Not long enough for what I need may have to return

I have wrestled with many many different charging cables over the years for the various iPhones and iPads my family has had and currently have. Name brand ones, generic ones, expensive ones, cheap ones, you name it. But the best ones that have gone the distance are ones likes these Insignia cables—with the braided covering rather than the plasticky/rubbery type covering. Those inevitably start cracking, usually at the opposite ends where they are handled the most and/or are bent the most often. These Insignia cables are very sturdy in that when handling the cable you can instantly tell that the covering is thick, with the ability to bend but not break. That’s a great quality to have, especially in such instances as when you need to charge up your iPad or iPhone while using them (we all know this happens all the time!); the constant movement of the cable when someone is actively using said iPad or iPhone while it is plugged in can take a toll on the cable’s integrity—but you don’t have to worry about that with these strong cables. And equally important and noteworthy about these cables is their length—a generous 6 feet each. That is truly really convenient in so many situations, such as in the car for long trips, and as stated above, when you need to use your iPad or iPhone while charging it up at the same time. Best of all, for all these positive points, the best is yet to come—the price! These cost a fraction of name brand ones that are of similar length and style (and are sometimes of even inferior quality!). So you can’t go wrong purchasing these; highly recommended.

The Insignia 6' Lightning to USB-C Braided Charge-and-Sync Cables are another quality product product from the Best Buy house brand Insignia. These are 6 foot braided USB-C to Lightning cords that also provide the ability to sync your device. I used these to download photos from my iPhone to my PC. These cables will only work with older Apple devices as they have transitioned to USB-C starting with the IPhone 15, thus lightning cables are becoming obsolete. However, if you have a device that has a lightning connector these are a good choice. I did not have any data or connection drops during file transfers with this cable. The end fittings are well constructed and seem like they will be durable. The cord itself is braided, so it has a more premium feel although with braided cords, you do have more susceptibility for them to kink up and potentially get caught on things since they’re not slick. My wife doesn’t like braided cords for these reasons, I prefer them. This package came with two cords, each six feet long. These cables are a good value and have premium fittings, premium cord, good charging capabilities and good sync capabilities, although they do tend to kink up a bit more than non braided cables.

I've gone through so many charging cables it's not even funny. Sometimes they will only work if you bend them a certain way or the charging speed drops to nothing. As always it's extremely frustrating. In these situations, I go for the big upgrade to a braided cable because who has time to waste searching the house for another cable that may or may not have the same problem. Braided cables definitely last longer. Cable for the car? Braided of course. Backpack hanging out past a zipper? Perfect use case where a braided cable isn't going to take damage. Any use case where you're expect a lot of exposure and bends the braided cable is going to win out. I've been using these from Insignia for awhile now and everything is still working great. They have a good length. Too short of a cable is just as annoying as one that is way too long. These came in a two pack. So one is a dedicated car charger and another for the on-the-go laptop bag charger. They are white so they are easy to see. Total win.

These cables are well designed and feel durable. I love braided cables—I generally feel like they have held up and will age well. I like the moon grey color—I was worried the moon grey would show dirt but it has not been an issue during my testing. The length of these cables are great. Because they are 6 feet (2 meters), it allows me to use my Apple device while plugged in while I’m sitting on my couch or in my bed. They are also great for travel when you are trying to plug in at an airbnb or a hotel and aren't able to be directly next to a wall outlet.

 Another aspect I really appreciate about these cables is that they are USB-C on one end. As I continue to purchase new devices, usb-c has seemingly become the standard for charging. So it’s nice to have that standard included as a part of these cables as it allows compatibility for me to only have to bring a usb-c charger rather than also bringing a usb-a charger. It also allows me to plug my apple devices into a computer or a Mac. Overall, these are great cables at a great value.

I can't really find any faults with this charging cable. It does exactly what it says it does for a reasonable price. The braided nylon jacket helps protect the internal cables and don't snag on any items around it. Both ends securely fit into their respective sockets. And the cable charges up your iPhone nice and fast as long as your charger has high amperage output. I like the 6ft version of this cable as it fits the need between long enough that I don't feel like I'm constantly stretching it, as the stock cable feels like, and having so much cable that you don't know what to do with it. If I was running this on a nightstand, maybe I would have gone with the 10ft model, just so I could lay in bed and scroll through my new feed. And so far the cables seems to keep itself mostly clean. It is white, so it will pick up some dirt, but as long as you're not spilling grape juice on this, you should be able to easily clean it off with some paper towel and a small amount of water. Just make sure to keep the ends dry and unplug it before cleaning it.

I normally only use the provided cord or Anker cords, but I took a chance on these. I've been pleasantly surprised by how well they are working and how well they are holding up. I switched from standard USB to USB-C plugs to ensure stability. Quality The cords are holding up great after using for a month. The cords are braided which is my preferred style. So far there doesn't seem to be any wear or tear even through I unplug, roll up and take with me where ever I go. The connection at both ends is snug and secure, which was my biggest worry as the reason I switch was because of good cables but loose connections...no issue with that here. The cords are 6' so they have a pretty good reach. Because of the braided casing, the cords are flexible but still stiff enough that they do not feel cheap. I have a solid connection with these and I don't notice any difference in charging speed. Probably the only thing I would change is the color. I got the white ones and they will get dirty eventually, but that was my call because my plugs were white.

Stopped working after two charges. Will be returning.
