My father was doing an author's event and I found out at the last minute that he had to use my laptop with a video projector. Ran to Best Buy and picked up the cable, got it to the event in time to get it connected and everything worked perfectly.

It work for both my MacBook and my surface and is great because it's the perfect length for presentations and I haven't lost it like all of the adapters - simple one piece solution

The 6' length means that one is able to plug in their laptop to a large display utilizing just this cable. I utilize these on events where a demo station will have a corporate style stand with a monitor on it, and a laptop on a cocktail table infront of the monitor. No need for more than this cable!

I have used Insignia connection cords and adapters almost exclusively for well over a year now. They have all worked great and lasted. Only 1 failed, and that was because I caught it in a car door. I will definitely stick with this brand when I can.

My HDMI port in my laptop was not working, so I bought this one to connect my monitor to my laptop through the mini display port. It obviates the need for an HDMI port completely. Works very well.

The geek squad who assisted was great . He figured immediately that the sales person gave me the wrong cable and no need for adapter . I connected it the cable and it works ! No special adapter needed.

I was unaware that a Mac computer required a special HDMI cord. Thankfully the Best Buy insignia brand makes an apple compatible product that doesn't have the apple price on it. Doesn't lag behind while streaming media and provides good quality picture.

Despite this being older tech, it works just fine connecting my two 4k monitors to my 2015 iMac (i have two of these cables). They seem durable and they're a nice, discrete, black color that fits in behind my system perfectly.

I bought this before I want to watch movies on my TV through my laptop. Quality is good, I hope the wire is a little longer. however, I found somewhere else sold it at lower price so I returned this.

I got this cable for my Surface Pro 3 and it works as expected. Got a good deal with the cable on sale. I can hook it up to the monitor on my desk and our tv for movies and such. Very happy and cheaper than the Microsoft cable with no difference noted.

Just what I needed at a good price. Easy to find at the store in Northridge. Great for displaying Zoom and streaming programs through my TV where the picture is big enough to see.

Worked well to let me view my MacAir laptop screen on my large screen TV. Also let me watch HULU since my older smart TV had no HULU button since I couldn't cast it. Worked well

I have an adapter (hdmi to mini hdmi) that I was using to connect my Surface pro 3 to external monitors, when I got the docking station the adapter would not fit the dock. This cable fit perfectly and made a direct connection to the monitor, works perfectly.

I've been wanting to watch Netflix on my TV but since my tv isnt smart enough i couldnt. I have a Macbook Air which makes it difficult to find a HDMI for it, but with the help of a guy there i was able to mirror my laptop onto my tv

Used with my Surface Pro 3 Dock and an Acer monitor. Seems to be a quality cable, works perfect, no issues, and costs less than the Microsoft mini display port cable. Although, these cables seem more expensive than they should be in the first place
