value/practical solutions

Does its job laptop/lamp, i cut it when i go out laptop power brick doesnt eat power. Its on my desk where i can reach it vs unplugging laptop cable....also idle monitor power etc.... small investment for proper/responsible power use. have 2 incase it "frys/fails?" not pushing a gaming pc+multiple montors on this or tv+console...so i wouldnt know
