I think they are an upgrade to the electrical sockets of my older mobile home. I actually have not had a tripped breaker since I started using these and I had to reset the breakers frequently before I got them.

The cord itself is firm and has a higher density than others I was looking at. Even though the outlet bar is made from plastic it is has already survived some abuse! Works well inside of an outdoor shed - no corrosion so far and given the humid environment here I am impressed. No complaints for this outlet. Only drawback is the switch is not recessed so it is possible to accidentally turn the strip off.

They are sturdily built and the plug wire is of a thick gauge. There is an indicator light that lets you know that the surge protection is working. Also has a breaker reset toggle on the power button

They work well for what I needed. Mounting to the wall was easy and they have a fairly long cord. I would recommend this because of the value.
