I have many hair tools, including a blow drier, to use in one spot so these are great for being able to have everything plugged in at once. I can ensure everything is off by turning the whole protector off so there is the added benefit of no worries about hot tools left on.

I selected these Insignia because of their price, their seemingly (from the previous user reviews) adequate protection, and because I have never had any appliance having power problems in my hours. Therefore,.......only time or a power surge will tell how good or bad these protectors are!
