    The insignia surge outlet power protector with the 8' power cord is excellent. First I like the color, secondly I like the 8' vs the 4' huge difference. I can comfortably plug in all power cords without limitation due to the 8' range. I have an older insigna power sure that works however the cord is much shorter and that's a real inconvenience. Glad insignia has made the newer power surges more flexible with longer cords. I'd send everyone that I know one of these for Christmas if possible.
