It would work for a little while, but then the air conditioner would turn itself off. That never happened with our other surge protector. We just needed a new one because our old one's cord was too short.

Only had 3 things plugged in - laptop, computer monitor, and phone. Switched to another surge protector - none of these issues. Def worth paying a lil extra to upgrade for peace of mind.
