It might have been overloaded but it still works after I unplugged everything. I would not use it again though.

I brought the surge protector home, took it out of the packaging, and did not try it out until a few months later. Finally, I went on vacation, plugged it in, and my laptop into it, and it does not work! And I do not know it I have the receipt. Arrrrggghhhh
