Then I used it during travel, and it kept blowing the local circuit breaker, even though there was nothing plugged in to this power strip. I say 'kept' blowing the breaker because I couldn't believe an empty power strip would do this so kept trying about 4 times. Fortunately I had also brought some different model strips that worked fine, but this one had to go straight to the trash. (I would have returned it but there were no best buys where I was traveling.)

This device doesn't protect against brown outs. Please do research before buying surge protectors and batter backups.

The cord is a little short, so if you are not working in tight quarters, i would say go for a 6' or 8' option.

What would make it better in my opinion is if it the part that connects to an outlet were a little bit longer. It's a bit short for my needs but I made it work.
