Second, should there be a load on the outlet, such as maybe the few times I turn on three gadgets at the same time, I wanted a surge strip that would "pop" off before the circuit breaker "pop's which is all the way in basement. This may not be the way an electrician would do things, but this is for the few times I have the toaster and the blender on at the same time (which is usually fine, but not always,) this surge strip pops, can then be reset, and is a good warning to me to be more careful.
