    This is a basic model surge protector without all the extra features of some of the more expensive models. It seems to do what I need it to do but I also have not had any surges to test it against.

    These insignia surge protectors offer moderate surge protection (650 joules) at a decent price. However, you wont find spots for USB, Ethernet etc.
