It is compact and plugs directly into a regular two outlet wall socket. The plugs stay in the surge protector, and it is relatively unobtrusive.

||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I knew this product had to exist amateur as I'm not the only person who has damaged and replaced several phone power cords cause the couch is right against the outlet. The product performs as you would expect and does have a low and study profile. The only complaint I can think of is that since it doesn't actually engage the second outlet it still has a little wobble but once your couch is back up against it, there is no worry.
