It's a surge protector that doesn't take up as much space as others. Rotating outlets can help relieve stress on wires.

The expansion unit has the left and right strips separated and able to rotate, maximizing your ability to allocate your devices in the manner that best fits the space. Particularly handy with transformer plugs that are more bulky and conflict with other devices. We bought two of these and are now up to six or seven; great for bedrooms behind a nightstand.

I like the fact that this power tap and surge protector has a high joule rating. I was a little apprehensive that this surge protector has a warning that it should not be installed where there is not at least 10 meters (30 feet) between the electrical outlet it is connected to and the electric service panel. It seems this is true of any power tap/surge protector like this one. I think it is cool that the led for the surge protection will go out if it is no longer able to protect against a spike or surge.

I bought this product because of price, amount of outlets and joule rating. This will be able to protect all my devices.

I installed 3 of these in a matter of minutes. They offer very good protection. The fact that they rotate is an added plus to protect against furniture that is close to the wall in that they keep the cords from being pinched which could lead to broken wires or an electrical short.

Six plugs that can swivel was good. Power surge protection good.No problems with it and I bought it on sale.

This turned out to be just what I needed for a behind-the-couch outlet. It's near the phone, docking stations, a wall light and a desk lamp...and all are powered without the need of an extension cord or power strip. Well made and reliable.

This was much needed to go up against the wall and out of the way, instead of taking up so much cluttered ugly space on the floor next to a door by a hallway. It worked so perfectly, I went back to get another one to go next to a desk by another door. It cleans/clears up an area so much nicer than before!

Very good surge protector, and good number of outlets

The surge protector is sleek and plugs into the wall so no messy cord to deal with . It holds plugs and performs the way it is supposed to. The swivel head on each side is very convenient. I plug my laptop, ipod, iphone, galaxy phone and tablet into this protector all at once in an old 1959 home and all work well.

I was looking for a multi-plug device to handle my TV, cable box, and other devices without looking like an obnoxious multi-plug device. This plug allowed me to angle one side and hide the plugs behind the cabinet next to the plug, and angle the other side so I was not looking at 3 empty openings.

Name brands dont always mean high quality... This item is the same overall protection as several others costing more, and in one case better protection than one item at 30% more cost. Next decision is that Best Buy is every where so if need arise to take an item back is an important thought!

I bought this because I need a surge protector behind my flat screen that had more than 2 outlets and that could be accessed from the side to allow flat screen to lay closer to the wall. This unit works great for what I'm looking for, and saved some money buying open box.

This is the best outlet I have ever purchased. I use the 6 outlets for my entertainment center. My flat screen, DVR, Surround Sound, Blu-ray player, landline and router are all being used on my outlet!

I like that it plugs into the wall so it's not sitting on the floor which would look messy. I also think it's cool that the sides swing around so you can fit those oversized plugs into it without overcrowding. Also, it has a high joule rating for a reasonable price.
