Replaced an older unit purchased at staples that constantly jammed and over heated, this unit has not overheated or jammed and has done the job

It very compact and very easy to use.You just have to do like 2 sheets at a time and it will work fine.do not overload it.

This shredder is small and compact but does a nice job of shredding home paper. Wouldn’t get this one for heavy, office shredding.

This is a great pickup for all your paper shredding needs, the only thing is, that it tends to overheat rather quickly so -1 star.

This shredder is good, a little loud for me but can’t beat the price. A lot of people out looking for ways to rob identity or commit fraud, don’t give them a reason by tossing important papers out. Shred!

Works like a charm. I use it several times a day and it shreds in smaller cuts then most crosscut shredders.The placement of the handle to lift it off the paper cutter, to empty the container, makes for easy handling..

This is a great shredder for the price. This takes care of all of the small daily shredding jobs you will have (credit card offers, shopping receipts). If you need something more heavy duty though you will need to go bigger.

Works really well but it overheats pretty quickly but resets fairly well also and wish it had a bigger bin

Had a lot of sensitive papers laying around and this puppy helped eliminate it all. Now the drawer is looking good again and the device is waiting for its next workday....

I had my old shredder for almost 18 years so I until I ruined it beyond repair I never looked at shredders. It took me almost 3 months of research and too much information; which caused a lot of confusion as to which type of shredder would be the most effective; to realize I was just shredding my own personal information and unwanted junk mail. I finally chose this Insignia for it's affordability, capability and the fact that it is easy to empty. I am very happy with my decision because it really is a great shredder and serves my purpose perfectly.

Good product. Cheaper end of paper shredders and does get hot if shredding in bulk.

I was looking for a inexpensive shredder and saw this one on sale. So far it works great. Only con is it gets hot pretty quickly.

This shredder is the perfect size for my study in small home. It is very handy and fits right under my desk, so it does not take up floor space. Easy to use and has the capacity I need.

This is a great compact shredder. Fits well on my computer desk. It handles all of thep paper I throw at it. I'm surprised how much shredded paper it holds before needing emptied. I'm very satisfied with the purchase.

Bought this one for a shredder that I had for 10 years. And this doesn't disappoint. Shreds quickly through several layers of papers. Even though it doesn't say it on the box it can shred DVDs, CDs and credit cards.
