Worth the price. I have had for over a week and it shreds documents as expected. Was also on sale which made the price value even better

Found this on deals of the day. So as far as comparable shredders the price was great. But mine would constantly jam with only a few sheets and died on me in around 2 months. Well it was back on deals of the day so stupid me just bought it again. (Still way cheaper for 2 then the high priced ones) no issues with this one yet so it may have just been a fluke the first time. But it does the job at a great price

also sometimes get jammed but otherwise definitely worth the price if you're in a setting that not so busy

This shredder has shredded everything I've put in it. Hands, arms, legs, you name it, it shreds it. Easy to empty the basket once full. Even has a view port to actually see when the bin is full.

I have been able to shred plastic cards and 6 or less sheets of paper like the specs say. It's compact, good for small offices.

Pretty happy with it. Tried multiple sheets, credit cards, it took it all without any problems. Yes, it gets loud, but it's not disturbing, it's expected.

Works very good, strong motor. Haven't had any problems with it, takes a lot sheets but the less sheets works best. Have to clean out the cutter underneath the motor, convenient to take top off to empty , but the top is very heavy.

So worth it at $26 pretax for a shredder. Works well, does overheat after like 100 sheets

It is light in weight. It produces cross-cut paper & has a slot for cutting plastic cards. The price was good. It should last a long time if you follow instructions and shred only 6 or less pieces of paper at a time.

Great shredder and great price for easy to use and the trouble shooting is also easy great for beginners...

easy to use quick nd fast shredding not for alot of shredding but perfect for home office use

It works as expected. Shred cd, credit card and up to 10 sheets of paper. It shreds automatically making it very economical. So far l have not experienced any problem with it. The price is also reasonable.

I am very pleased with this purchase considering the low price. I read the description online and decided to purchase it as it is very economical and so if it doesn't live up to my expectations, not a lot to lose. It was a very smart purchase as it performed according to expectations. I get excited shredding my confidential documents knowing that they will be securely shredded. I highly recommend this product.

This shredder is awesome. No matter what I run through it, it does the job without even trying. Have not used it on a cd yet but it cuts up credit cards without any slow down at all. My old one struggled to cut more than 3 sheets of heavy paper, this one just powers thru with ease. Third one I have had and the best.

This is very nice. Doing a lot of shredding and it's not jamming. Paper going through fine. Put about 4 sheets at a time. Overall it's a great investment

This is a very reliable product. I had a lot of old paperwork that needed to be shred, this shredder handled it all (about 20 pounds) It never over heated during many hours of operation.

The shredder works great. Only problem is, it’s loud if you have a lot of stuff you need to shred.

its just the right size to put on top of a table. it does overheat if you shred a lot of paper continuously. its good for personal use.

Insignia branded items just bring a lot of great value to customers. Like myself! I like this product, it's definitely not the highest quality shredder you could purchase, but it's cross cutting, and works exactly the same. I've used it several times, and can even return it as a defective unit if I need to, AND receive the money I've spent on the protection plan back during the first years manufacturer period since this is a Best Buy branded item. Grab this guy before considering any other brands unless you'd like to pay twice as much for a simple shredder.
