This shredder is quiet and shreds well. I like the compact size as my previous machine was larger and cumbersome to empty. I am very pleased with this purchase.

A portable no-nonsense paper and credit card shredder (only 6-sheet capacity) that does the job if you need to protect your sensitive information. It's perfect for my small personal business and very quiet. Overall, the price and size was just right.

Great shredder for average home use. If you dont have the patience to shred 4-7 sheets at one time, I suggest to get something more powerful. This does the job needed - shreds mail and cards as advertised. The 5-stars would be given if the shredder had more capacity, of course. Better choice than a premium cost at a wholesale club for soemthing similar.

This shredder is perfect for my needs. It is easy to use and does a great job shredding the documents I no longer need. It never jams and easily handles up to six sheets at time. Great value!!!

As the title states, the price was right, and that price was “on sale”. It does as advertised, but after a moderate amount of use over the course of a couple days, it’s shown signs of binding and stopping, and my “Auto” function works terribly for anything over one sheet of paper. Power reversing and forwarding a couple times clears this problem. It’s sturdy and solid for what paid, and I don’t care if I keep it for ten years; I just like a cheap easy method of securely destroying junk mail.

Good value for money. Relatively small, but for a non-office setting this should handle all your needs, particularly if you're only shredding things once in a while. Only thing of concern is that the shredder unit is built to match the included trash can, so if the trash can breaks (which plastic ones tend to do) it'll be a bigger hassle to get it fixed or find a suitable replacement.

I love it. It is small and fits perfectly where I wanted it. It cuts well for my needs and is relatively quiet.

Nice, quiet, smooth. I had an Insignia for many years before this one and it was good enough to make me buy another. Technology has come far, this one is much nicer than my previous one, I recommend it.

This shredder is absolutely perfect! Had years and years of old paperwork that I didn't feel safe just throwing out and this device worked tremendously. I remember the convenience of having a shredder growing up so I figured it was time to get my own. Used it the second I got home and it cuts 6 sheets just perfectly and don't have to take any staples out. Works like a charm. Cheap $$ price but works very, very well! 10/10 would recommend.

This is a good enough shredder for average home use. Reasonable cost. Not meant for large jobs unless you let it rest after many sheets. For larger document, you may get red light warning of overheating.

So far so good. First time owner and user of such a product and operating the machine was easy to understand. The auto-on feature where the machine functions only when paper is fed into the machine is great since that lessens the chances of it overheating sooner. I have not used the continuous-on "FWD" feature much but that also works. I think it also helps that I don't need to shred a full load of 6 sheets at a time, as shredding just a single sheet of paper is fast. If one would consider this a downside, when I checked the underside of the machine after opening the box (this item was bought brand new), the blades had a couple of strips of shredded paper as well as a shredded piece of plastic on it. I'm not sure if this was due to quality check, or if I was given a used one. However, the whole machine itself as well as the bucket looks new and the whole thing works normally. Bought this when it was discounted at $30 pre-tax and normal price was around $47.

Indistenable for home, works great, not very loud.
