Needed this cable to connect my tv to a digital to analog adapter for wireless headphones. You just need to find the right way to plug the cable into the tv.

The advantages of optical audio transfer are often overlooked, although not all cords are created equal. This one is well made and not a flimsy piece of crap.

I use this optical audio cable with the Insignia soundbar even though it comes with basic RCA cables. I may not be able to tell the difference, but it's got to be better than RCA cables.

I love playing music through AppleTV to receiver. I can control music using Apple’s remote app from outside house when connected to home WiFi. Sounds as good as expected.

The cable worked great, but, for my install (WALL MOUNT), extremely short. I don't know if 6' is really sufficient for most set ups. I was talked into buying to short of cables at the time I bought my TV (with wall mount) I was doubting if it would be OK, and should have taken a pass but didn't want to get home and not be able to set everything up. The short cable worked technically well, but, the install was not clean. Measure twice buy the cables once that meet your needs, ignore the sales people on length, they will have no idea what your true install is. I now own a few more cables to go in my unused save for later collection.

I have this connected between a TV's optical out into an A/V Receiver's optical input. It's delivering sound without any issues. Nothing fancy and exciting, it's just a cable.

Works well for the price. Really nothing to complain about.

Had to purchase this to finish the install of my Livingroom TV and Sound System. After hooking it up and setting the TV for the proper sound input it works great!

No need to buy an expensive optical cable. This cable works just fine and i doubt you would be able to tell any difference in a more expensive cable.

I bought this optical cable for my LG TV and connected it to a converter and then connected to a Bose sound system speakers which works with RCA cables and it works perfectly.
