No loss in audio quality

These optical cables are just as sturdy as more expensive brands, and there's no loss in audio quality. If you're thinking about getting these over another brand to save a few bucks, you can't go wrong with them.

I thought it was that I needed to update the firmware, which is a pain in the you know what. This optical cable did the trick. Now, the sound stays connected and never drops out.

It replaced a much older HGTV to which we had connected an Apple TV device. This well made optical cable now connects these two devices to each other so that the Apple TV sound is delivered though the TV/s speaker system. It was easy to install and worked the first time.

Best Buy had just the right one at a reasonable price. We were able to pay for it and pick it up outside the store, which was imperative during this pandemic.
