Honestly, I think I only bought this because I didn't realize they had optical audio (and from the same port!). I bought this cable and used it for awhile without issues. Went back to the old set up.

I was really excited to use this to connect it my Sonos System! Maybe when Apple allows Google a little more flexibility I'll get this again.

Great Optical Cable

My cable broke so I went to Bestbuy and said this is the cable I was looking for. I bought it and have had no problems with the cable for as long as I have had it. I recommend this as a replacement cable for sure.

Great concept but....

Turns out my "B" speakers only are analog not digital like the "A" speaker option. Was looking to run tablet music to stereo to outdoor speakers. Had to get RCA jacs/pin option.

Why use the built in Chromcast DACS when you can Bitstream out for hi-red 96KHz 24bit sound. Works great with all streaming files and lets your equipment do the work. Love it!
