I bought it to support my Qumi Q6. Part of the problem is the projector and where you connect the tripod (off center). I could see how this would work well for a GoPro or similar. For me it does not. The ball and socket configuration keeps popping out so I have to get another tripod.

We appreciate your review and feedback on this situation. While we try to make it as universal as possible, it could certainly be a certain gadget where this product is not the ideal for. In this case it would see that, since your projector connection is off center, it will require a tripod with a bigger footprint.
