I needed a quick and inexpensive tripod when I forgot mine. It is okay. It does pop out of the socket when rotating the camera, as other reviewers mentioned. Although small, my point and shoot camera is a bit heavier, so maybe that is the issue. The legs were nicely adjustable. I'm on the fence about whether or not I'd recommend. I'd say give it a try if you have an super light weight camera.

I wanted a small tripod to mount my GoPro, iPhone... small and light enough to carry in a backpack. This tripod is what I needed and it works perfectly. Buyer beware, this tripod is tiny (6 inches) and would likely be too unstable for large SLR cameras.

I bought this to use with my iPhone plus (I already had a phone holder that I could attach to the tripod). The only problem I had (not the item) was that my phone case is bulky and heavy and sometimes the tripod was not strong enough to carry it. But when I took off my case (which is a hassle, at times), the sturdiness wasn't an issue. Just keep in mind that this product is good for lighter cameras and phones.

I’m a new youtuber and needed a shorter tripod to use when I’m out vlogging! This one is perfect for my small hands as well as my husband’s larger hands! It is sturdy enough for my point and shoot camera!
