Bought these hoping to transfer data they work great for some things just not what the purchase was initially for. Overall worth it though.

Our computer was compromised and without the Cable supplied by Best Buy we would have lost all of our files prior to having to re-image the Laptop. Thank you so much for carrying equipment not found in other stores that help especially in the times of disaster.

I bought this cable to transfer data from an external hard drive to my WD cloud drive. I was upload about 50 gigs of data to the cloud and this made the transfer easy. The cable worked as it should.

Cable is pretty fast once you figure out how to transfer the files you want. It transferred the files to my other computer but it put them in a different place. Make sure the files are going to where you want them.

This cable is pretty good. I use it for connecting my school laptop to my monitor. I use this item from my laptop to a converter that is HDMI.

...which was what I asked associate for (male-male usb for use in trouble shooting fax installation) but mainly used as data transfer cable. Although it did not work for MY intended purpose, I've already used it for ITS intended purpose (transferring data between devices)!

Cable seems ok, got it to transfer data from 1 laptop to another, but windows 10 sucks won't permit any longer. I now have a $30 6foot cable that I can't use and don't need, but no fault of the cable.

I bought this product to exchange files from one device to another. Not really much to review on it, except that it works and is as good of quality as any other cable you would buy! If you need a USB to USB connection, then this is what you want !

Needed to move data around between laptops, and while I could've done it via an external HDD, thought it would be easier to do with this transfer cable. It was pretty easy...software that runs the cable works well, even if it may take a few minutes to understand the UI so you know which data is flowing where. My only beef with this is the price...more than $30 for a cable you're not really going to use that often is a bit much. If you do need to move data this way, it's probably worth it for you, but I hope I don't lose this thing 10 years from now if/when I need to move data like this again.

I used the cable to transfer files from an older laptop to a newly purchased laptop. Simple to use, just connect and begin transfer. Much faster than using wifi. Yes, I recommend this product.

A simple cable, you say? The length is amazing. 6 feet? This is perfect. I have a photo printer that the cable needs to reach my computer which is quite a far distance away. Perfect!

The transfer program ran for a while, but eventually gave an out of memory error message when I tried to transfer a large amount of data and files between my old PC and my new one. I wound up using a USB hard drive for the large file transfers. Nevertheless, the transfer cable was convenient for transferring smaller miscellaneous files. I thought about returning it at first, but then changed my mind and decided it was worth the price as long as I didn't try to transfer bulk data with it. I would recommend it to a friend within those constraints.

Transfer of files from old PC to new PC over home network was going painfully slowly. This cable speeded up the process. There were some disconnects, but overall it worked well.

Helpful cable. I needed to extend my USB to another computer. It worked. The assortment of available cables offered at Best Buy gives consumers lots of choices and variety of price points.

This cord is just what I needed when I got a new computer. I was able to plug in the cord to both the old and the new computer and transfer all my files, pictures and anything I wanted very easily. I even went from a windows computer to a Mac.

Awesome cable. All the software I needed to connect to the other PC and transfer files with drag and drop ease When I bought it I wonder if I wasted my money but once I used it I realized how wonderful it was. It made the process so easy

I needed it as a connection for my WF it worked even though it wasn’t the extra connector the salesman told me that. All is good

Had to move some things around, which meant the original USB cable was not long enough. While the length makes sending things to the printers slower than it used to be, security parameters for work require a hard connection and this gets the job done.

This cable worked well for moving information from one computer to another. Just plug it into both and move the file through the folder system

Glad best buy has obscure wires and cablea to hook up whatever you need. Had to return this because we got the wrong one though.
