This is a very simple item to use if you need to connect 2 computer devices to transfer anything from one to another. Just plug it in to a USB port on each device and you're ready to go.

Changing the set up in our entertainment room, so needed new cables to make it all work. Basic cables seem to do the job nicely.

we needed to connect a monitor to a computer with out moving it to a different location on my work station... this 6 foot cable was not too long (leaving extra cable in the way) nor to short... it was just what we needed

I am NOT computer savvy. Cable has 2 different plugs. From what i am reading the old tower needs to remain connected to the system with the cable going from the old tower to the new one. BUT which plug goes where? I connected everything to the new tower then read the instructions. So i have not had the chance to switch the towers. I therefore do not know how well it works, probably fine. My issue is with the poor instructions with the cable. Ask for clarification before leaving the store.

This cable gets the job done. After installing the drivers for both computers, It was easy to transfer data from one computer to the other.

I bought this data cable a while back and it still does what it's supposed to transfer files easily between devices it was slightly overpriced but for the most part it works

This transfer cable did what I wanted it to do. It was definitely worth the money. It made it much easier to select folders that I wanted to keep from my old PC and copy them directly to my new one--much easier than copying them to an intermediate drive, then copying from the drive to the new PC. Note: In the beginning, it didn't seem like I was going to be able to make it work to copy from the old PC to the new one. But after I connected the old PC to the internet (which hadn't seemed like it would be necessary since the cable was connecting the PC's), it worked.

Needed an had I cable for my grandson so he could attach his laptop to a monitor. This cable was perfect and the price was right. I bought 2 I case his brother decides to do the same thing...

I bought it as advised by the best buy sales person that helped me. It was a great advise. I was with a problem on my old computer and had a bunch of files to transfer. With the cable I did it fast and safe.

There was no problem with it works like it is supposed to. It will be helpful with transportation of data from one pc to another when backing up a computer.

Great product. Lost the cord that came with the printer so had to purchase this one. The length makes it easier to hook up without moving things around.

I needed to move a ton of files from 1 computer to another. Storing it in the cloud or moving back and forth a thumb drive is too timely. With this cable, I connected, chose the files to move and walked away.

If you need a cable, try the Insignia brand first. They are quality products that usually come at a reduced price.

Needed to transfer programs and docs from old laptops to newly purchased laptops for continuity of operations. Worked well and saved significantly more than going thru IT services.

I'm so glad the Gentlemen recommended using this for the transfer of my files. It was easy to use and all went extremely well no data lost at all and no frustration ether great product

This is an excellent way for a novice to transfer data from a desktop to a laptop or to power your devices when the battery is low.

Cables are sturdy, have been using them for long without any issue. I was not sure on quality but somehow lived up to expectation, use them everyday.

This cable works flawlessly on any windows device, but it struggles on MacOS. The instructions aren't very clear.
