That being said, while this product works perfectly for what it's manufactured purpose, it did not work for what I was trying to accomplish with it. Make sure you are only transferring data, and not intending to use this for video. The product name should have warned me away from trying to use it for something other than it was intended for.

If I wanted to use two screens, it lets you do that, too - when you connect two computers, you can move your mouse between screens.

Out of the box, the process was relatively straightforward. Plug one end into the old laptop, load the program, connect to your new computer load the program, make any tweaks to what you’re transferring and let it work.

Fast and easy file transfer between comuters

Install was easy and operation is as well. Copy/Paste did not work but Drag/Drop did. Moving files between computers was a snap. Had minor problems initially getting a stable connection but moving the cable to different ports fixed that.
