    The 10' long charging cord eliminates the need for an extension cord trailing across the room to where I'm lounging on the couch, using the phone and keeping it charged at the same time. The junction of the cord and rubber sleeve over the plug is nice and sturdy -- that was the Achilles heel of my first charging cable.
