For some reason when i use it eoth my macbook to connect to my DP only dell monitor, it doesnt bring thr monitor out of sleep mode. The display changes on my mac but I have to literally plug the usb-c end into my samsung phone to activate DEX mode to wake it up. Haven't been able to test this anywhere else tho.

Apple initially recommended a Display Port to HDMI connector, but that didn't work. NEC tech support recommended this connector and it works perfectly. Construction seems excellent. Inexpensive.

I ended up abandoning it somewhere in the office after I was able to find a better one on Amazon that supported my needs and was a third of the price cheaper. I didn’t get to try it on a pc though

I bought this cable to connect directly to my laptop to the monitor. It works perfectly. No connectors needed, just one cable only. Fair price and a good product. Would buy again.
