This was not straightforward plug-and-play, but took several setting changes, etc. Once both devices were set properly, the adapter worked well. Restarts seemed to work best by unplugging the cable at the monitor (display port) end, then re-connecting. This may be due to some issue with my monitor, don’t know for sure. Otherwise, there was no problem with the cable.

There’s a tag on the cable once you open the box and take it out, however. It didn’t work for my needs, but it appears to be a well made cable.

Not worth it. Stopped working less than a year

However, after a few months of using it, there were some faulty issue with it but simply disconnecting and reconnecting it again seemed to get it working fine. Fast forward to now, it is less than a year of having this cable, and now it’s no longer working. I have multiple monitors and tested it with all of them and definitely can narrow it down to the cable no longer working. Not worth buying especially for its price.
