This USB-C to DisplayPort Cable is exactly what I needed to hook up my large 49 inch widescreen computer monitor to my gaming laptop. I have no issues with the wire. If this is something that you are looking for, go and get it, you will not be disappointed. The one thing that I DO wish is that it was in black, but on the other hand, it is easier to see when bundled up with my other black wires.

I previously attempted to use a standard HDMI cable to connect my laptop to an external monitor, but it couldn't handle the highest supported resolution and framerate. This cable has solved my issues, and allows my external monitor to run at its max specs of 1440p at 100 Hz. From what I've read, this cable should support 1440p at up to 144 Hz. However, keep in mind it can only run 4k resolution at up to 60 Hz.

I was having issues with using AirPlay with iPad Pro while editing videos with LumaFusion. I could notice compression artifacts when transitioning screens, switching apps, etc. I then tried HDMI out to my monitor, which had a horrible issue not being full screen--I'm talking black borders all around the image. I did not have hight exceptions with this cable, but I did have an extra video port on the monitor that is DisplayPort. Right away I noticed the difference: 1) No black borders, and 2) much better video quality than AirPlay. This is an outstanding product.

Purchased a new HP Spectre running the GTX 3050 GPU and wanted to test out my ultrawide monitor that’s been in storage for a little while but HDMI doesn’t allow functionality of the use of my Samsung ultrawide monitor. I tried my luck with this USB-C to DP connector and it worked as expected. 6’ is a little long for what most people will need it for but it gets the job done and that is the important thing. If this is the kind of thing you are needing this cable for, it won’t let you down. Thanks to my local Best Buy for being the only store around to have these (and countless other niche items I seek) in stock.

Solved my problem! Cable is long, constructed with durable materials. I wouldn't consider it a premium feeling but it doesn't feel cheap either. Surely this cable will be with me for a long time. MAC MINI Compatible.

It's... a cable. It gets the job done. I picked this up so I could basically turn my gaming laptop into a desktop PC by hooking it up to an external monitor, and it works great for that purpose. The cable is of a pretty average quality, it's lasted me around a year now without any signs of wear. It isn't braided or gold plated or anything like that- but that stuff is all superficial anyways. If you use it like I do, it works just fine.

The only thing that would improve this product is if I could order it in a 10-foot length. The color is perfect, as are the texture and flexibility. I get 166hz with no problem on my Dell monitor from my laptop's USB-C to DisplayPort connection.

Works great, very nice quality cable for the price

Cable seems to be made fairly sturdy and have not had any issues with it since I purchased it. Have used it with two different UHD monitors and two laptops and each time it was plug and play. Would recommend as an alternative to the more expensive options as this was reasonably priced and just does the job.

1440p @ 120hz works like a charm. Can’t speak for 4k or for @ 180/240hz yet but that is on my list to try next.
