Simple and reliable. Worked perfect to connect my laptop to a docking station with 1 HDMI input and one DP input. Used the laptop's HDMI and Thunderbolt / USB-c port to provide dual video for dual monitors

I have 2 cables one going to 1 4k monitor and the other to a 4k monitor. Upon the Macbook waking monitors connect instantly.

Unfortunately i cannot charge my laptop at the same due to the hookups but you can buy another connector for this. Anyway, easy fix for working at home or office for a few hours.
