Instead of puchasing a new monitor with my new laptop that did not have an HDMI out, I purchased this. It works perfect. I am able to do 4k @ 60hz without issue. It may support even higher resulution, but I am not sure. Worked well for me.

Received a new computer for work and needed this cable as the computer only had an HDMI port and a thunderbolt display port. Rather than buying a docking station to connect everything, I decided to get this. Does exactly what I needed and was a much cheaper option that a docking station.

This allowed me to attach my phone to either a computer or projector and display the phones screen. It allowed me to successfully demonstrate a mobile application.
