I'm using this to connect a 27" iMac to an external LG display and it works perfectly. No performance issues at all. Everything from the gun metal finish, to the sleek round casing, to the black braided cable make this cable look top quality.

It's great to have a usb-c on one end and HDMI on the other. So handy when most computers now have usb-c ports and most presentation monitors have HDMI inputs. I won't travel without it now.

Can connect a phone to a tv or a laptop. If you have a Samsung phone, it will allow you to get Samsung Dex. Just keep in mind you can't charge while using this cable

Works but might give two screens?

I’m not sure if my projector is to blame or the cable. Every time I plug in the type c port to my computer and hdmi port to the projector, I get two screens instead of one. It doesn’t happen with my windows computer which I use a hdmi to hdmi cable. It’s very strange but again, I’m not sure which to blame so I’m giving it 4 stars for still working. Will update if I find a solution on to which is causing the problem.

I'll bring this with me on trips from now on!

It it worked for my needs. Plugged a monitor to usb c on my surface book. Only works with hdmi screens. It will not work plugging the hdmi side to a computer and the usb side to a monitor.
