I was using this to charge other items it can charge now it doesn’t let my phone connect to Apple car play only lasted 2 months but for the price it’s not bad hint you get two.

One cord didn't last long enough with charging my phone. I would not recommend this.

It didn't work with my phone. The person helping me picked out the wrong product. He was nice though.

Terrible do NOT buy. If it just so happens to charge, it will take half a day to charge your phone. Thats IF it works. Mine worked, barely, when i first got it. Gave out after that. Its garbage.

I came in for a hight speed type "c" charging cord for my cell phone and 2 people combined helped me. Together they sold me a slow charger. This wasn't a Best Buy

The cables are stiff and the C connector does not fit tightly.

I find that I am constantly needing USB C cables around the house. Whether it is for our Nintendo Switch, or our Google Pixel phones, or numerous external HDDs, or our 4K media player boxes, and even in our vehicles from the wireless charging docks to lord knows what else. While I am still rocking an iPhone 14 Pro Max for my personal phone, and so no USB C and instead Lightning, as I just outlined everywhere I turn I am needing a USB C cable. I have jumped on the online marketplace that delivers same day, next day, or 2 day, and ordered a ton of USB C cables the past few years but they all end up breaking after 6-12 months of use because of just how poorly made they are. So I was looking for a reliable, great quality, and braided USB C cable, and these fit the bill in all the areas I wanted. Unboxing The packaging was not overly large, and instead was fairly compact to be holding two 6' USB to USB C cables. We have 3 recycling carts at our home along with a normal trash cart and so we have started to become more aware to just how much trash & recycling we have each week (it's a lot). And so with most of this being recyclable material that made me feel good about the manufacturer & seller of course. The cables were nicely packaged but yet easy to open. I dislike having to pry a product with a crowbar out of its packaging and so it was nice to be able to easily get the cables out. Rating 5/5 Setup & First Charge Of course with a cable setup is easy, you unbox it, remove the ties, and plug it in. Super easy. We had a couple of charging bricks & some devices laying around that needed charged & so I immediately set about plugging them in. But what I did was use a power brick with one of our old cables to charge one of our wireless Nintendo Switch controllers with, and then used a power brick with one of these cables to charge the other controller. Before doing so though I turned the Switch on to see how much charge each controller had. Each of them were at the same battery level (we usually play the games together and not solo), and so I plugged them both in and would check-in on them every 30 minutes to see where they were at. Our old cables were probably 3 years ago (they had been in a box for 1 year of their life) and so both of the controllers were done charging at about the same time (the controller with the Insignia barely finished first, I believe it was just because it probably had a bit more juice in the batteries than the other and so I called it a tie). Also, the cables fit snugly into everything I've plugged them into (including our phone cases, which I've found can be hit and miss with all cables-irregardless of USB C, Lightning, etc and so that is a great thing for us because we have cases which are waterproof & "life proof" styled). Rating 5/5 Data Transfer I needed to do a backup of one of our Google Pixel phones because I needed to send it off to be repaired and so I hooked up the phone to my USB C dock via one of these cables & went about copying about 150GB of data from the phone to a NAS. Now this isn't a super fair comparison because I believe it would have been faster if I was able to copy it to the local SSD but I didn't have the local disk space to be able to do that & so had to copy it to the NAS. Anyway, it was just shy of an hour going from the phone to the NAS by way of a laptop over WiFi 6E. I was extremely happy with that. Rating 5/5 Build Quality This is where these cables shine for me. The braided outer layer, along with the cables having the plug's shell extended up the cable just a bit leads me to believe that the cables will not break right where the warehouse shipper's cheap cables will. I cannot tell you how many times I've replaced cables because you have to bend or pinch the cable right there to get it to charge or transfer date or whatever. So I am hopeful that these cables will not have this issue with how they are constructed. So far they are a huge step up for us. Rating 5/5 Conclusion Everyone in our home has been messing with these cables for a week or so now & no one has had a complaint. It has stopped the constant "Dad, this cable isn't working" that I was getting multiple times per week with just replacing 2 of our most aged cables in the home. That is a great big win for me because it frees me up to fix other things that need done around the home. I will be going into our local Best Buy to see if they have any Insignia USB 3.2 cables for all our other devices & I'll probably be picking up some Insignia Lightning cables for my iPhone 14 Pro Max. I almost forgot just how solid the Insignia brand of products are. For a store brand they are really a great bang for your buck brand, and they are backed by Best Buy with having a 1 year warranty on these cables, so if they break within a year I'll contact the manufacturer & get us replacements. But I don't think they will because of just how solid & well made they feel and look. Total Rating 20/20

These cables stink! They take forever to charge a phone unlike other USB C cables I've used before. Don't waste your money.

Extremely slow charging and data transfer the quality of the material is fine

I recently purchased the Insignia™ 6' USB to USB-C Braided Charge-and-Sync Cables (2-Pack) in Black, and so far, they have exceeded my expectations. Having two cables in the pack has been really convenient, as I’ve put them to good use in different areas of my home and workflow. One of the cables stays in my den, where I primarily use it to charge my phone or tablet while I relax. The 6-foot length is perfect because it gives me the flexibility to use my device comfortably without worrying about the cable being too short or getting yanked out if I shift positions. This has been a common issue with shorter cables, so I really appreciate the extra length. The second cable is dedicated to my laptop and camera, and it performs exceptionally well for both charging and data transfer. The length is more than adequate for my setup, and I have experienced fast and reliable transfer speeds when moving files from my camera. I have a lot of rapid charging devices that are USB A ports. These USB A to USB C cables enable me to use my rapid charging devices on my USB C devices. These braided cables are nice, work with Apple and android devices without any issues. I have also used these cables in the car and had no issues with Apple CarPlay or Android Auto. There is no reason to go more premium than these cables because they are good quality and get the job done. As more and more devices switch over to USB C I found myself with a lot of USB C to USB C cables but not enough USB A to USB C cables. I have found that when I am travelling it is still far more difficult to find USB C ports to charge versus finding USB A ports. That is also where having more USB A to ISB C cables comes into play. Until USB A ports are swapped out for USB C it is a best practice to have a few USB A to USB C cables when traveling to make sure you are able to get your devices charged up. My wife makes fun of me for having too many cables, however we always have our devices charged up no matter where we are because I always have a cable for everything.

These are great cables. In an era where many electronic device makers are switching to USB C plugs, but many of us still have cars or power supplies with standard USB plugs, these Insignia USB to USB C cables work perfectly. My car doesn't have USB C ports, so I was happy to pick up this pair of Insignia USB to USB C braided cables to bridge from my phone to my car. These cables are well-made, with a braided jacket that gives them a feeling of longevity. I don't feel like they are just going to pull apart at the plug like some of the cheaper cables that come in the box with phones and other elecgtronics. I also like that they are 6' long, which allows for some flexibility with installation. Sound quality sounded great for me. Running from my Galaxy phone into the Android Auto USB port of my Challenger, I have had no issues with connection, lag, sound quality or charging. They are super affordable too, which is always nice. The fact that you can get two cables at such a good value is impressive. I would definitely buy again. Highly recommended!

One cable already does not work, not sure it’s worth it to find the mate to return

It seems I couldn't ever locate my USB to USB-C charging cables in my kitchen "junk drawer" - it was always USB to USB or USB to Lightning but never what I needed. When I would find one, it was always so short the device being charged seemed to almost hang from the outlet. Now I have the solution! It's the Insignia 6' USB to USB-C charging cables from Best Buy. To make it even better, it comes in a two-pack! These cables transfer files and charge devices with ease. Each plug is encased in rubber making it easy to grip, and at six feet in length, they're long enough for just about any task. Need to charge your headphones/headset but don't want them in the middle of your desk? These solve the problem! The braided cable jacket is super-flexible, yet has a slight stiff aspect to it so it stays where you put it, without curling back up. It also coils up nicely when not in use and retains that shape so it won't get tangled up in the aforementioned "junk drawer". I keep one in the kitchen with all of my other cables/chargers and one at my desk to recharge my wireless products - keyboard, headset, and mouse. Because it coils up so easily, I can put it in my desk drawer and not have a tangled mess when I go to retrieve it. These are such well-made products - but what else would you expect from Insignia and Best Buy!
