I did not intend to have the TV hooked up to the dish, but I did want good programing and streaming. This TV is perfect for our needs. It was reasonably priced, and it has all the streaming services we want. It is connected to wifi, and even has a gaming console attached. I can see it clearly from the far end of the rec room where I do crafts. Love my TV!
