Great tv for a great price

Response time is better than some of the top brands out there. Picture is bright even during the day where the sun shines the brightest. Took a leap of faith and now I’m a fan of insignia.

Quickly bricked itself.

There was no power surge in the home and, moreover, it's plugged into a surge protector. Even after using factory reset... It turns on and has only grey and pink lines where the image should be. I had to hire a mover for this and I am unamused that my last TV lasted 14 years and this lasted less than 2 weeks.

Best value for a TV

Honestly, these are the best bang for your buck when it comes to a TV. I really like the FireTV operating system.

The colors also appear to be muted. The reviews were good but the performance in average at best!

Good tv/ bad remote

Frustrating

Like if a black person is on the show or movie or whatever is on, it shows some of their head or face as like a whitw color. I can't go into the store n ask. I tried on the 14th n no one could help me, i even went to ask at the Geek Squad n they said i don't know n said well then why are you here n another guy jumped into our conversation n said were here for computers n something else. They said call 800 Geek Squad, first of all way to many letters n so i tried it while still in store n she said let me look it up. I'm just so fustrated with Best buy at the moment n have been since i started buying 2 TV's in March of this year. No one knows anything anymore. It wasnt like this 35 or so years ago. I could call the St. Cloud, MN. Store n could get help. I have that phone number memorized. I just want to return everything n shop somewhere that knew something, i mean what would you do???

No more makeup
