I was skeptical about this tv. I figured I would wait 1 month before I wrote a review. For the amount spent ($700) you cannot find a better tv for the money. I own 2 other insignia tv's so I'm familiar with them. Let me tell you won't be disappointed, once you find the sweet spot in the picture settings. This isn't a oled so don't expect that level if picture quality, this is an affordable tv that will give you a really nice picture.

A most excellent television! We bough the 55 inch 1080 Insignia 10 8 years ago and it was wonderful. When we saw this 65 4K Insignia for less than we bought that 55 inch tv we just had to get it. Insignia is a great brand that never fails. This smart tv starts up almost instantly- just turn it on and a couple seconds later it's on! Not like other tvs where you have to wait 20-30 seconds just for the picture to come on. We currently have a blu-ray player and an apple tv plugged in to it and the tv does upscale 1080 picture- though not all the way up to 4K of course.

This 65 “ iis sleek, has great picture quality and I love the built in Roku. The sound quality is not bad but iI already had a surround sound system that Ive had for 10 years, so I had to buy an optic cable to hook up to the tv. Overall great buy for the money. Pic is clear and crisp and of course if you have cable you can program the cable remote to use with the tv if you don’t want to use the roku remote. By the way the Roku remote does have volume control for the tv located on the side of the remote.

I bought the 55” Insignia 4K TV earlier this year and absolutely love it, from the sharp vivid display down to the Roku integration and ease of use. I went ahead and bought the 65” and love it as much if not more since the screen is larger, the 55” bezel is a metallic brushed material which was one of the initial factors on why I bought it, as to where the 65” is a gloss black which I don’t like. Overall I definitely recommend this TV over any competing brand in its class of 4K UHD TVs especially the non Roku ones, any other smart TVs UI is no match, even more expensive ones

Just returned the TCL S405. After reading all the reviews of the TV and being very disappointed l with it, I was Leary of all the great reviews of the This Tv.
Initial impressions are great. The sound is phenomenal, and whoever says otherwise Is not telling the truth. This thing puts out great sound.
The picture looks great with the right content. My 1080i dish looks passable at best, so I don’t think the uoconverting is that great.
Overall I’m very happy with this for $650. Hopefully it holds up and doesn’t break down.

Insignia 65" Smart 4K Ultra HD Roku TV

We have had this TV for about two months now. It was our first ever Smart TV purchase, but second Best Buy Insignia brand TV purchase! To have Roku included was an all-in-one bonus. We bought it based solely on reviews as our local store had it out of stock at the time of purchase, so we did not see it beforehand. It's a steal of a deal, can't beat the price! It has been a treat for our family as we upgraded to this 65" Smart 4K UHDTV from a 32" non-Smart LED TV. The design is sleek. Works great with our Xbox One and TV antenna. The 4K Ultra HD quality is phenomenal. Setup and installation was a breeze. We mounted it onto the wall in our living room. Only con I can think of is that the speaker sound could be better when watching Hulu or Netflix. Otherwise sound is really good, don't have to go higher than 10 most other times. Did experience a glitch with it sort of starting screensaver mode while still playing the sound of what we were watching on Netflix in the background, but powering off and back on resolved that. Haven't had it since, fingers crossed. Overall, solid quality product - would highly recommend it. Definitely one of those "only @ Best Buy" gems!

The price was a great deal and it has the inputs and outputs for everything. I especially like the Roku built in. It is essentially a point and click tv, much the same as a laptop computer. Point or scroll with the remote’s buttons with a very intuitive interface. The Roku TV phone app is great and extends features such as displaying pics and video from your phone onto the tv. This tv also includes automatic pause and rewind of live television. Simply insert a usb drive and then it will automatically begin recording once you select a channel. No need to remember to start it.

I love this TV! The roku functions are amazing. It has a built in tuner and with an amplified hdtv antenna we get a ton of channels and it even gives you a kind of TV guide for them. Plus live pause with a flash drive. The resolution and display are breathtaking! There are no issues with lag in fast paced sports watching or action flicks. The only issue is old dvds just look awful without and upconvert player - but that’s because this tv is just so great. Did get a sound bar to amplify it and happy I did. Enjoy!

We went to BB during Memorial day weekend just to browse. We didn't intend to actually purchase a new TV until we saw the deal they had on this one.
We spoke with an employee and they helped us compare it to a few others in the same price range. I read reviews online and they were positive so we took a chance with this brand.
We have been pleasantly surprised. The colors are fantastic. The size is great. The way it was packaged by the manufacturer was smart. We didn't necessarily need a smart TV since we have a PS4 & Xbox One but it loads the apps quickly. The remote is extremely easy to use. The Roku software takes a few minutes to set up but that's to be expected.
Overall, this was a happy surprise purchase. If we could, we would buy one for each room of the house!

3rd Insignia and loving the picture for the price. Excellent viewing angle from the sides. 4K streaming video is awesome. Only wish was that the remote was Bluetooth like the Roku Premium+ that I swapped for this built-in Roku. Other wish is that the IR sensor was on the right side (facing TV) of the TV for most right-handed people. I find myself pointing the remote at the far left side of the TV...across my body as a righty.

This is my 2nd Insignia tv and love them both. For price and quality it can't be matched. The Roku makes it easy to switch from gaming, streaming and tv. Added Insignia sound bar to top off the package.

This tv is phenomenal! I had to return and go through four TVs. FOUR TV’s!! That’s insane. Not only was this product user friendly, but the remote has a max of 10 buttons on it making it so simple. Don’t even get me started on setting up the TV. By the time you’re done reading this sentence you probably would have been done setting it up. The quality is pretty amazing and I can hook my PS4, cable and wii in with no problems! This TV or in general the brand insignia is Best Buy’s best kept secret. I would recommend this tv time and time again.

I'm a big fan of Roku as I had cut cable and opted for Playstation Vue for live TV. The Roku TV is easy to use as it opens up right to the apps like a normal Roku. The only issue but isn't with the TV is that Netflix will Glitch and PS Vue app on the TV is a different app than whats on the sticks. There is no guide on the TV app as it is on the Sticks and on the playstation. The quality of the picture is good as I was coming from a 50 inch HDtv.
Everyone who has watched something is wow'd at the quality especially at the price I paid.

It's only been a few days so I can't comment on long term reliability, but the picture is crisp and it was a good price on sale at $649 for the size, I was expecting something around $1000 so I was pleased. I really like the built in Roku so I only have to have one remote. I will update this review if I have any issues but so far it's a good buy.

I went to Best Buy to purchase this specific 65 in smart tv . This replaced a 42 inch 2006 Maxcent plasma television. Maxcent I believe was their store brand back in the day. The Insignia brand has always delivered in quality and excellent value for the money. Picture quality is excellent! Family loves the quality when playing Playstation4 games. I recommend and purchase again!

Bought this tv for a RV bedroom. It’s decent for a small bedroom. Easy set up and has some decent features. For the cost I think it’s good.
