My charger for my computer became loose and no longer worked. Staff helped me find what I needed. Works beautiful.

I read about this charger in News Weekly. That is the only time I've "technically" ever read about a charger, thus this charger is the "best charger I've ever read about" by default.

This charger had a really hard time staying put in my Dell Inspiron laptop. Additionally the plastic part on the dongle started melting just recently even though my computer wasn't overheated so I had to completely replace the charger.

If you are in a pinch and can’t find your laptop or ultra book charger like me then this is a great and convenient product. I had 2 laptop chargers for a Dell and Lenovo laptop go missing after I moved to a new home. I needed both laptops to be charged and thankfully bestbuy had this charger which covered the wattage requirement for both my laptops and this particular universal replacement charger had the proper tips for both. The multiple tips are nice since now I didn’t have to purchase 2 chargers like I thought. A benefit to this charger is that it comes with other charger tips which is nice if you have company over and they need to recharge their laptops as well. Fortunately, I get by using this charger for both laptops and just change out the tips when I have to and taking note of battery use as I go so I don’t have to buy a 2nd one. The only downside to this is the cost of it since direct replacement chargers on the internet are literally 75% cheaper which is why I wanted to give this a 4/5 stars. But since it worked out so well for me having 2 laptops of different makes and models I have to give it a 5 for the ease of use, convenience and overall value I get using it for 2 laptops. I would only buy this if you’re in a “pinch” like I was.... otherwise If you can just wait and buy a direct replacement online for a much cheaper price then for sure do that and save some money.

I am so glad I took a chance and bought this charger for my computer! Having a second charger for my computer increases my efficiency. When i want to move about my house, now i only have to carry my laptop. And with the various tips, you can find one that works for your computer. No more racing to grab my charger when my laptop is low on power. And I can continue my focus with minimal interruption.

Good replacement charger for my old Samsung Ultrabook. Comes with multiple plugs that would work for most laptops and ultrabooks, and if the one you need isn't one of the ones included, you can contact them and they'll send you the one you need. Doesn't stay firmly plugged in all the time, and slips out often, but I think the issue is with the port on my ultrabook which seems to be loose, and wiggles a bit. Very satisfied, though, as this is the only good option, and I'd have had to replace my ultrabook if this didn't work.

This charger is a bit pricey, but the included attachments work for multiple laptops. The pack does get very warm during use which concerned me as I didn't know how hot it would get.

When traveling, forgot to pack my notebook power cord charger. Had to go to Best Buy to seek a compatible power cord. Most plugs did not mate with my Acer notebook but this one did. Of course, it was the most expensive one on the rack They unpacked the power cord in the store and tested it with my notebook to make sure it charged. Had to purchase the power cord first before they would test it, but if it didn't I could get a credit. Clerks very helpful. Only reason for four stars instead of five was the price.

I bought this charger to keep in my carryon bag. I use my laptop more like a desktop for ordinary use, so when I need to travel I don't like to have to undo everything and take it with me. I now just unplug my laptop from where it sits normally, stick it in my bag and off I go with the spare charger ready. The fact that it comes with multiple ends means my wife and I can travel with only one charger and that is great.

This charger has numerous adapters so one if them will likely fit just about any laptop. It's much better than the OEM adapter that came with the Dell laptop I ordered from Best Buy six months ago. My Dell charger had stopped charging after only a few months, and I was told by both Best Buy and Dell that the charger is not covered by the one-year manufacturer's warranty. It would cost about $100 to buy another one just like it from Dell. Instead, I decided to purchase this Insignia charger which seems well made and cost about $65.

I bought this charger after I forgot my original charger in a hotel room. First time I ever had to replace a charger, so I took the laptop into the store to make sure one of the tips fit my laptop. The staff were very helpful and we tried it out to make sure it was charging. I like this one because I have several older laptops that are infrequently used and this allows me to recharge them if necessary. This one cost way less than the replacement charger from HP and it charges just fine!

Performs as advertised. Easy to use with my new lap top and helpful it comes with additional components to be able to share.

This has worked out very well for me for many months and I'm happy to have bought it to replace the power adapter on my old Dell Inspiron. There was a tag in the package that said if a tip wasn't included that you could call a number and that they'd send it to you. Well, I wanted to use this adapter on an older Samsung laptop that has a very thin tip and was not included in the package. So I called the number, I spoke with a service person, answered questions for about 20-30 minutes, and was told that I would receive the missing pin. Never arrived. So that's why I took a star off of this product, because of the false claim in the package.

This insignia charger has been a Godsend. I bought it when I had left my charger for my laptop at a hotel. They mailed it back, but I needed something in the meantime. This adapter works very well, is solid, not flimsy, makes a perfect connection in my Lenovo laptop, and has all the adapter heads that have allowed me to use it countless times now on many different laptops and other devices. I can't recommend this enough.

If you have multiple laptops then this could be a best purchase. Just change the port to fit the laptop. From traveling perspective very good. Very compact and light weight.

Had to get a charger in a pinch for my Dell laptop to finish a project over the weekend after leaving my OEM charger in the office. Probably paid twice as much vs. finding one online, but this charger presented only option for walking into a store and being able to purchase and possess it the same day. The product box directs you to a website to confirm which charger works with your exact computer and the charger itself comes with a variety of tip adaptors so can potentially be used for other computers with same wattage power supplies. Good quality charger, if somewhat overpriced, and solid backup AC power and same day available option from Best Buy if you ever need one.

The charger provides a perfect match for advertised charger heads. The heads are not the easiest to change - sometimes you have a pull a little extra hard on the end which can strain the cord. However, overall very easy to use and a great product.

This was just what i needed. I can easily use it for both my home laptop and my work laptop. I forgot to pack my one and only charger and was in dire need of recharging my laptop. BestBuy had this in stock and, a bit more than I wanted to pay but, given it can be used for two different computers it is worth it.

A bit more than I wanted to pay to replace an original cord chewed by the cat specially since the ASUS X200CA laptop was older and less than 200.00 when purchased but worked as advertised and saved me from missing my work.

Works charging my Dell computer. The one I purchased online for half the price which was built for a Dell computer refused to charge my computer's battery. I live 70 miles (one way) to the nearest Best Buy so instead of making the trip I bought a Dell charger online. Big mistake!
