Mediocre performance from a lower cost Gan Charger

It’s listed for 65watts and I used it to charge my surface pro 11 which needs a 45w power draw. The charger gets pretty hot (hot to touch) while powering my surface pro, despite it not pulling the full 65w that the charger is rated for. Contrast that to Anker Prime 67 watt charger and the Anker runs cool while charging my laptop. That said I scored this charger for less than half the price of Anker so perhaps the lower performance is expected. If it doesn’t catch fire, then I would still give it a ok to use rating, however if you were to buy one charger I would not recommend this.

The only flaw is that it is heavy/long enough that it does not stay snug in a wall outlet. We’ll use it in a floor outlet strip so this small drawback will not be a problem.
