Great extra freezer storage

Although I would recommend a stand up freezer, it's easier to get what you need instead of digging all the way to the bottom.

Getting warranty service is difficult to do.

Owned for 11 months when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Freezer works fine, but the power light flickered and then quit working after about 2 months of use. The freezer is under warranty still. However, I have to empty it out, find a place for the stuff inside for who knows how long, borrow a truck and bring the freezer into the store to get service. That's pretty ridiculous. It would be nice to have a light to tell me the freezer is powered on and working, but it might as well not have a warranty considering how much hassle it is to use. If anyone cares Haier actually makes this Best Buy Insignia branded freezer.

Good as fermentation chamber (homebrew beer)

Works well for this function and thus far has only been placed into light duty (65-71).
