I recently purchased this exact freezer not even 6 months ago and it has already went out and ruined over $500 worth of meat. With all of this COVID-19 crap going on, I was depending on that freezer to feed my family of 5. I have been given the run arounds by Best Buy customer service and even Geek Squad. I DO NOT recommend buying this freezer unless you want it to ruin your meat that feeds your family!!

While the price seemed right, the unit had a couple of serious defects. After it got cold I opened it to put frozen food in and closed it. When I tried to open it again it stuck/sealed so firmly that I could not get it open. This happened repeatedly. I had to wait 15 to 30 minutes to get it open again. This means you have to leave it open for extended periods if you want to load multiple items. This is not energy efficient. Another more serious problem is that this freezer has that cheap aluminum foil insulation so that if you drop anything while loading it, the bottom or sides dent. The concern is not only the look but also the material could be easily punctured. I recommend not buying this.

It freezes quickly and efficiently with minimal frost. I picked it up from the store in an undamaged box yet it still had about a 3" long, perhaps 1/16" deep black dent in the whiteouter casing. It seems aesthetic so I didn't return it but this must have come directly from the factory this way. Other than that I'm overall pleased with my purchase. Great value.

Perfect for what we need. A little first build up but nothing major.

Bought this in a pinch when our larger freezer died. Ended up using this one permanently. The only issue is that you need to be careful with the door seal or else it can ice up a little bit inside. Careful cleaning prevents this.

After getting the freezer, I went to BJ's and bought what I thought was going to fill the freezer. Barely put a dent in it. Now several weeks later, and still more shopping and extra baking, still not full. Very pleased so far.

Love the extra storage space for freezer meals and ice cream.

Plenty of storage for my meats and ice cream no complaints

I bought this freezer a few days early before butchering 17 Thanksgiving turkeys. I plugged it in and it turned on, but never got cold. I had to scramble to find places to store the turkeys. Best Buy is willing to refund the money, and they sent me a return label, but they're not willing to pay the $15 that UPS charges to pick the freezer up. So this will be the end of my relationship with Best Buy. After thousands of dollars spent, I will not shop there any more and I will be canceling my Best Buy credit card.

Freezer was on sale, it seems to work well, and is quiet.

The freezer is functional and delivery service was very good. I did not realize that this freezer is not “frost free”. I assumed all freezers in this day and age are “frost free”. Big mistake on my part!!! No one mentioned this to me at the store when I bought it. Buyer beware!
