The unit shorted in 2 months. Plug into a gfi or your house will burn up.

Works good, cools quickly and holds temp. Light weight construction so won't handle much abuse.

chest freezers are what they are. inconvenient to get at food. use it for longer term storage.

This freezer chest was delivered on time by Best Buy. It is in a cooler area of our garage with over 6 inches of free space around all sides as recommended by the manual. The freezer was easy to move (weighs about 55 pounds empty, I think). Now it's plugged in a grounded outlet and within 8 hours on max, was cold enough to fill with food, using medium chilling. Since we must avoid crowds because of health issues, we needed this to store enough frozen fruit, vegetable, and meat products to minimize shopping trips. Ironically, a few months ago we gave away an extra frig with a nice freezer section, because it took up garage space. But this compact freezer hold 3x as much as that frig and costs just $30/year to run. Much better for our needs.

I'm very pleased with my freezer, is the exactly size I was looking for, fast delivery, working fine, in my opinión is the best at it's Price.

Seems to work great. Everything stays frozen. Haven't had to defrost it in the four years we've owned it.

It is a perfect freezer that fits our daily need. The space it has and ability to maintain and control its temperature makes it to be one of best freezers i used. i highly recommends it.

I bought this in 2017 and it is still working as well as day one. It is light to move, reliable, and so easy to clean if you need to. A contractor turned off our breaker to where this is used and didn’t tell us so we had almost a full freezer melt. Berries in bags and ice cream were melted to about 3 inches deep. Grr. I easily moved it out of garage and was able to clean it so easily with the plug in the bottom pulled out.

This chest freezer reasonable price and working well. I use this freezer for fresh refrigerator with auto thermometer. So if fresh all vegetables and fruits. I am happy about it.

This freezer has held up well in our garage! Food stays frozen, nice size with lots of room for all the extras that don’t fit inside your kitchen freezer.

I bought this for use as a fermentation chamber and could not be happier. It's spacious and gets to temp quick. I will have to purchase another to use as a keezer!

My wife loves it and says its perfect for a minimalist. Im definitely not and still think its the perfect sixe for us. Its big enough to hold a alot and small enough to put almost anywhere.

In purchasing the Insignia™ - 7.0 Cu. Ft. Chest Freezer, I have very minimal complaints about this product. This chest freezer is very convenient to have when freezing and storing a lot of frozen foods. Easy to clean and keeps your foods extra cold! The wire baskets are a nice addition to this freezer because it allows you to organize and store your vegetables or meet in a nice separate section of the freezer. The only downfall to this deep freezer is that the foods on the bottom of the freezer are deep down and hard to reach if you are not very tall. Overall, decent freezer for the amount of money.
