A no frills chest freezer. No on/off light. Not sure what temperature is with mechanical dial. Manual very sparse. i.e. Manual says level feet but the feet have no adjustments. Interior is aluminum rather than plastic like Kenmore other models

A great buy. It has the space, depth I was looking for. I am very impressed with the way it runs and how quickly it freezes. You can barely tell it's running.

Bought in 2017 for about $86! Still going strong with no issues :)

So far it’s working good. I literally bought this just to store my breast milk. The only con is that it’s a little wobbly.

Needed a freezer quick. Unfortunately they did not have any in stock- that's why it's 4 stars. But the product itself works great. So far, no complaints. It's filling up fast and still working great

The freezer worked fine for 9 months then died. While we knew when we purchased it that were were not buying top of the line, that was fine as we just needed a basic freezer. Size was great, no frills but, served its purpose however, I expected it to last at least a year.

I really liked it because it works very very good for me and my family.

My freezer was delivered and set up in no time. Plugged it in and in less than an hour, went from room temp to 0 degrees! This thing is so quiet, that I had to feel the inside to make sure it was running ( the power light was on, but had to check anyway.

I was looking at larger cubic foot chest freezers, but the prices were too high, so I settled on this one that was on sale. The cost to space ratio is quite good. It's now full of various frozen goods (read that as lots of Ice Cream) and runs quietly.

I was searching for a 7.0 cu. ft. chest freezer, and found this Insigna which is $50 cheaper than a Kenmore one. I have been using it for 2 weeks and very happy with it.

Just needed a basic chest freezer, after reviewing a few I went with this model as I felt it was a good value. Only time will tell if any issues arise but so far so good.

I purchased a freezer from Best Buy August 1st, which stopped working 5 weeks later. It was plugged in, blue light on and you could hear the compressor kick on, yet, the freezer was warm and we lost saved breast milk for our soon to be 7 month old. I originally contacted Insignia on September 4th to arrange a replacement. After back and forth with two representatives, I was asked to contact Best Buy/Geek Squad to arrange replacement. One phone call an hour later ended with a Best Buy representative stating to, again, reach out to Insignia because it is past a 15 DAY period, regardless if the product is defective. After Insignia, once again, telling me to contact Best Buy to "honor the 1-year warranty", Geek Squad forwarded my call back to Insignia. After another 45 minutes, I was told that I need to "make an appointment" and I can't just exchange the product, like for like. I certainly didn't vandalize the freezer because we lost breast milk!! We are now nearing the end of September, I still don't have a working freezer and have to now haul the freezer back to Best Buy to verify "it wasn't our fault" before getting it replaced. It has been the absolute worst customer service experience in my life. The freezer lasted 5 weeks before it stopped working, I've been passed back and forth between Best Buy and Insignia half a dozen times and we've lost food for our child. All we wanted was an exchange of product. Even when that takes place, there will be a constant paranoia that the replacement freezer will also fail. Many positive reviews and only a handful of others that had the product fail early. Didn't think we would have one of the horrible experiences, but unfortunately, it happened.

Nothing fancy, but works as intended. Three month later, still no issues.

I needed a replacement freezer for a solar project. This freezer has an operating range of 65W-100W and works nicely on 3 renogy solar panels and a bank of batteries. Freezer operates quietly and the standby power is measures at less than one watt

You get what you pay for I guess. A few days short of a year this freezer shut off on us while we were out of town for the 4th of July on vacation. When we came back home all of our food was spoiled and when we called Insignia they said it was a few days after 1 year so the warranty didn't apply. We were able to limp along on it by making sure it was all cleaned out and would have to check on it every day and toggle the switch if it shut off again. We used to be able to get it to last a week before shutting itself off but now it shuts off every day. I do not recommend this brand at all. Spend the extra money and get something that will actually last you because now we have a boat anchor in our garage that we have to pay to get hauled away.

We have had this freezer for less than 2 years, the top is all rusted out and it does not make a good seal and ice build-up around the lid.

Smaller than I thought it would be. Was delivered on time and working well.
