    Company won't stand behind the product

    After 1.5 years of owning this product, it failed. It would freeze the bottom 8 inches of the drum, but not any more than that. The product warranty expires after 1 year. The company would not honor the warranty (which I expected) but also refused to do anything for me or help me at all. This company doesn't stand behind the products it makes and doesn't care if their products barely last more than the warranty.

    Broke after less than two months

    I bought this freezer to store breastmilk for my daughter who was born extremely premature. It began to get warmer and warmer and the milk was in danger of melting and having to be thrown out. Best Buy and Inisgnia said all I could do was bring the freezer in to be serviced. I had 2000 oz of breastmilk in the freezer and was unable to do that. I lost 2000 oz of breastmilk thanks to a terrible freezer and terrible customer service.

    Quiet operation. Excellent cooling. So far no excessive frost accumulation inside the freezer. Works well even when temperature in my garage exceeds 100F. Dinged a point because it does not have a door lock and interior light

    Broke After 8 months, lost several $100

    So beyond disappointed. Purchased to store frozen raw dog food for our special needs dog. Freezer just stopped working after 8 months spoiling hundreds of dollars of food. Trying to reach anyone at Best Buy to see about a warranty has been a nightmare. Not to mention, how do I get this disgusting, huge thing out of my house? The food leaked all over once thawed and I'm not interested in cleaning that out.

    Insignia is Totally Unreliable

    We bought an Insignia freezer in April 2020. It has has lost all its ability to freeze and is totally dead. We lost about $500 worth of meat and other foods. The freezer could not even last a few months! This brand, while inexpensive, is totally unreliable. Even an appliance repairman told me that its basically junk. Do not buy the Insignia brand!

    We have had the freezer shutoff twice in less than 2 months, so I returned it yesterday after we had to throw away food. The price is what sold me on this extra freezer room, but you have to have a freezer last longer than 60days. Find another manufacturer.

    Freezer is 1 month old. Quite working and lost all the meat in the freezer. Blood all over my floor from the meat. I have had a terrible time contacting both Best Buy and Insignia trying to get it taken care of. Will not buy from Best Buy again.

    Freezer is not reliable

    I purchased this freezer 10 days ago. Today, when I opened the freezer, the internal temperature was 50 degrees and everything was fully thawed. Thankfully, I caught it quickly and Best Buy stands behind their products. They gave me a new one. Hopefully, it is better quality.

    Purchased August 2019. Now in August 2022, it stopped working and spoiled about $1000 worth of meat. Power source is good, no longer cools. Unbelievable.

    worked great for 60 days and now does not cool. Powers on but nothing else. Not much help from anyone as far as fixing or replacing. Hundreds od dollars in food will now be donated or given away if possible
