Was looking for a replacement since my previous one suddenly went kaput after 3 years. Found this one at BestBuy and it was a great deal for the larger size. Wish the delivery fee wasn't so high and was kinda bummed that I had a wait over a week before it could be delivered. But even so, the price was right and it was worth it. It's been a month, and so far so good. Runs great and is keeping things frozen nicely. Just hope it lasts as long or longer than my old one.

This is great for extra storage. Stays in garage and doesnt take up much space. Makes no noise at all. Excellent product.

I bought this freezer after my daughter was born to make more room. We use our regular freezer for freezing milk, and use this freezer for all of our other daily freezing needs. Since I have limited space in my garage it was perfect for the small space. I was very surprised at how cheap this freezer was, and with free shipping as an elite member it was a no-brainer. So far it runs very well and makes very little noise. I have yet to fill it to its maximum potential, but at a quarter of the way full, it's doing quite well.

This freezer is all it needs to be without a lot of frills. Storage space? Check! Gets cold? Check! Nice and quiet? Check!

I originally bought one of these for my Florida home to keep items between my seasonal trips. I am happy that it keeps everything between zero and -5°F. No muss, no fuss, very quiet, you do not even know it’s running. I did put in a remote reading thermometer, so that I can monitor the temperature every time I pass by the freezer. In my New York home, I built a 24 inch deep closet in the dining room, and the new freezer sits secure in this closet.

Great price for what we got. Keeps my food freezing cold. And roomy inside compared to its outer dimensions.

This freezer came in great shape, no scratches or dents. Very long and deep, but not too wide. It comes with a basket for smaller items that sits on the inner ledge. It’s easy to set the temperature on the front, and the lid is hinges seem spring loaded so you do have to careful to not open the lid too aggressively and have a good grip on the handle/groove in the front. I can fit a lot of food in this freezer.

I looked all around for freezers and found this one online and for the size, reviews, and price I couldn't beat it anywhere. To my surprise I am totally impressed with this freezer. Our main concern was freezer buildup and so far no problems with that and it is easy to defrost. I live in an apartment and it fits perfectly in my kitchen. I really love this freezer. I love the Insignia brand. We have an Insignia plasma tv from 2008 that still works beautifully so I'll get brand anytime.

Ordered based on good reviews and excellent price compared to competitors. The item was packaged very well (do dents or scratches), and very convenient to remove the top and side packaging, and simply lift the unit off of the bottom packaging when moving into place. Installed in a spare bedroom in the house. Reached sub-freezing temps quickly (per the time specified in the instructions) and has kept all the long storage items frozen solid since (now a month later). We have also used it as a blast chiller for items on a sheet pan (like chocolate or caramel) very effectively, and they set up very quickly. As others have indicated, getting some plastic containers to organize all the items in the bottom of the unit will be useful, as the single basket sliding along the top organizes very little of the overall capacity. I have been running it on MAX, so I suppose I cannot comment on the temperature controls for higher temp settings, as I have no reason to ever do so. I did tighten the access screws to the side ventilation screen after install, as they were initially buzzing when the compressor was running, and perhaps loosened during shipment. Now the unit is VERY quiet, and we hardly know it is even there. About the only thing I would have wished for was our local Best Buy to have at least a couple in stock (as I was ready to install it the day of purchase), and I needed to wait almost a week to have it shipped to the store (not sure from where). IMO, the whole point of buying from a local store is the expediency you gain from having items in-stock, and is about the only benefit over ordering on-line, which would have had about the same shipping window, and would have avoided the extra trip down to the store. It did, however, arrive when they indicated it would arrive, and I was promptly notified by email for pick-up. All in all however, very satisfied with the construction and operation of the unit, which matters the most to me.

So far so good. Best price in class. Keeps things frozen. Allows me to buy in bulk. Save some money.

This little yet roomy freezer fits the bill for holding a substantial amount of food, and keeping things frozen. We found it to be a great bit of added food security for the shelter-in-place period. There’s Something reassuring about knowing you have some staples safely tucked into a freezer, and the freezer doesn’t take up a lot of space I. The garage.

I purchased this freezer to stockpile food over the summer and fall so we didn't have to cook a lot when our new addition to the family came along. It was simple to set up and fit perfect in our garage. It holds a lot of food and keeps everything frozen no matter if the food is stored on the bottom or top. It has not had one issue and operates as described. I would not hesitate to buy that product again.

well priced, easy to move and set-up, lots of space for a small freezer. Works great so far and my kids love picking their desserts from the garage freezer!

We replaced an older larger freezer that was not very energy efficient.this one is just a perfect size and runs so quietly. The delivery by the "Geek Squad" was just great as always and as usual they they were friendly and efficient in setup and explaining the features and making sure that it was cooling properly before leaving. I highly recommend "Best Buy" for good pricing and quality products.

Glad we got this model for few extra bucks went for this one bigger size. Sleek model,fits in space well easy to use freezes quick and hold loads Would given more but problem delivery and failed to turn machine on after they told me was all ready and very poor after service Apart from that good choice of freezer
