This is a well designed and well built appliance that can cut your grocery bills allowing you to stock up on sales of frozen goods. Unlike chest freezers, you can easily get to things without unpacking everything. It uses surprisingly little electricity. If it is like the other Insignia appliances we have purchased, it will have a long service life. I recommend it.

Perfect fit in my garage and it can freeze to well below zero. I have it running at -2. Replaced an old chest freezer that my wife hated because she could never find anything easily. With this upright it holds the same amount of food as the chest freezer, but you can spot everything in a heartbeat.

I was recently in the market for a small upright freezer and this was perfect for my needs. I wasn’t too sure about not having shelves/compartments but it turns out I didn’t need them. It runs quiet and fits everything I need. I would recommend this freezer to anyone who needs a small but nice uptight.

Existing chest freezer decided to bite the dust and I need something to replace it. Did quite a bit of research on various similar models and this one fir the bill and its convertible so if there is a need for it to be a refrigerator it can pinch hit. Unpacked, plugged in, set thermostat and within a few hours it was ready for food.

Needed a small, compact freezer that we could get down basement stairs with a couple turns and this one is perfect. Froze things solid. Easy to see what you have in there because of the upright design. Has a surprising amount of storage for it's size. Priced right.

Virtually the same size as the previous upright freezer (0.1 CuFt larger, it is visually more compact and has made better use of the total interior space for storage. The controls are easy to modify and it has performed up to high expectations.

Great choice in a medium-sized garage-ready upright freezer. Handles the "overflow" from the kitchen refrigerator freezer. The ability to stock up on sale items at the supermarket will help pay for it. Don't hesitate if you're looking for that extra freezer space. A shout out to the delivery guys who arrived the very minute they said they would. A fast, efficient delivery.

Excellent dual-temp fridge/freezer. As a house of 6, we needed extra space and this works great to fill with meal-prep food for a week without making the main fridge a nightmare.

This is even better than expected. The perfect size for our needs. The stainless finish looks great too! I love it can also be used as a refrigerator. Delivery was easy and fast. They even hauled the old freezer away

Good size freezer. Stores what we need it for. Worked as intended from the get-go. Can use it more for a fridge if needed but have not tried to as of yet. Would recommend.

Great, affordable choice to add extra storage in the garage. Using it as a fridge and has been performing exactly as we had hoped it would.

Good delivery, but it did take a while. So far the freezer is working great. I placed a wireless temp sensor inside and it is holding the desired temperature exceptionally well.

This is a great little freezer! It's quiet, offers the most flexibility to move shelves, and the price can't be beat. It's SO much easier to find things in an upright.

Looking for more freezer space, I’ve shopped around for multiple brands at multiple stores. There were mixed reviews everywhere so I took a gamble with Insignia. Unpackaging was easy. I did not have to move the door hinge but the instructions looked straight forward. I changed the setting for freezer and plugged it in. Done. The freezer started up with no issues. I placed two water bottles overnight. The next morning, they were frozen solid. It’s been a couple weeks and my food is still frozen. The seal around the door are tight. I have no frosting issues inside. I have no plans to use this as a refridgerator so no testing was done for that function. I like this one because it has more shelves than drawers. There is only one drawer at the bottom. Having an upright freezer helps those who aren’t able to reach the bottom of tradional chest deep freezers. My wife is happy with the deep freezer therefore I am happy.

Very nice and much larger than my old fridge that suddenly died. It keeps things at a nice temperature. Really enjoying this item.

Spacious, easy to organize, and freezes quickly. Runs quietly and holds temperature well. Perfect for extra storage without taking up too much space. Highly recommend.

It was the perfect size for what we needed. It is so cool that if I decide I need a refrigerator it will convert!
